  1. I also think things that allow more player interaction would be pretty cool, like chat contains conditions or a pop up box with radio buttons. A variable system would come in handy too.
  2. You can see some pics of the exhibition here: http://users.pandora.be/filip.vandevelde/primitives/ Nice work Tim, you are obviously bored at school
  3. Yep depends on which graffiti. Those guys putting their tag all over town are just a bunch of vandals with no respect for culture and other people. However there are very good graffiti artists. A while ago in Bruges there was a graffiti exposition. The artists were allowed to make their work on buildings all over town. I don't know the names, but those were artists from all over the world, also some Americans. What they did was really spectacular. When you enter bruges you'll find a huge one which is the artist's interpretation of a painting by Memling (famous medieval painter to whom a museum is dedicated in Bruges). I don't have any pictures right now but I'll have a look on Google.
  4. Welcome to the forums Mark I think this maybe isn't the right place to look for game developers. You better go to http://www.gamedev.net, that's where many gather.

Topic closed. Legolas, please don't post the same topic on other forums, and post it in the appropiate one (this case General Chat).
  11. We don't really have any traditions, we're quite 'dynamic'. One thing I loved back when I was a kid, was going out with my parents each weekend. We always took the car and went driving all over the country, usually visiting some cities, etc. I'm glad we did this, now when I go to Brussels with school for example I can guide the group because I've been there so much A tradition I like now, more or less like the previous one, is saturday driving with me dad. I'm still learning how to drive, so each saturday we explore the province for a few hours. Pretty cool, we usually make a stop in some towns and you always see something new. Even discovered a tomb in a church from an ancestor that way
  12. Welcome to the forums Talos. Some impressive work you made there, thumbs up
  13. This is related to one of the games we design I guess? Please make sure telling about which game it is, and actually it would be better if you post this in one of the game forums. So go to the 0ad or TLA Community (links at the top) and post it there in the appropiate forum
  14. Sorry for the late reply. Yep, 20 characters are allowed now. But only use it for your location please
  15. Yep C++. VB and Java are also good. Also depends for what you're going to use it. For web applications you better go with Java for example.
  16. Maybe it would be better if it was done manually.
  17. Hey you beat me to it akya. I saw it this morning but didn't have the time to post, so I decided to do it now. I posted it, but then I saw your thread. Aaah Klaas making a fool of himself again, glad I can delete my own stuff Anyway happy birthday Brian!

  19. Great article Paul! One problem though, the font is a little too big. Must be the difference between the BB code of phpbb and invision?
  20. Yep, he was a canadian major (he was in the British RAF). In my town there's a Canadian war cemetry. Actually he was already burried there, but eventually they found out the person in that grave was someone different. I have only found very small parts though, the 'official' archeologists found much more. But they weren't really professionals, they were digging up the plane with a huge crane resulting in damage to it (major damage, a lot of stuff was smashed into little pieces). They only took the big parts (also of the pilot ) like the engine for example and all the rest was left there. Quite silly actually since I've found his teeth, while they didn't find any, and stuff like toxic pills and such. Funny thing is that my father was already talking to me about that plane when I was able to understand. That's what he remembers best of the war, a plane was flying above their house and suddenly shot down by the Germans. It crashed down in front of our house (well approx 100 meters away from it) in a little pond. So it dissapeared quickly in the mud. Anyway, I couldn't have imagined they would dig it up around 50 years later.
