I think no stone walls or towers is incorrect. Celts are known to build fortified cities, and I beliefe some had stone walls and towers, maybe Alesia and Lutetia in Gaul. Not sure about this but I think some historians doubt that the Picts were real Celts, they are quite different then the other British Celts. Druids were not blacksmiths, they are comparable to priests. They had the most power among the Celts. The Romand tried to destroy the Druid culture of the Celts because they used to be at the base of many riots and uprisings against the Romans. They also did human sacrifices (a young beautiful man was sacrificed each year I think). I think the concept of a High King is quite rare among the Celts. Sometimes there were noblos controlling huge regions, like Vincengetorix or some British queens and kings. They were chosen mostly by the free people, they even had election campaigns like we know now, promising all kind of false things and giving free beer and food

Well I've been through this a few times, forgiving them too much. In real life (so not here ) I'm quite nice to everyone, I forgive very quickly even if they did something really bad. I usually seem a bit angry from time to time but it passes quickly and after that all is forgotten and forgiven. But, if they keep attacking me continuously I can suddenly become really furious and then it's enough for me, no more excuses, no time that will heal what happened. Yeah, ask some people who were friends with my gf, they got to know the bad Klaas and I'm sure they didn't like that at all

Yep I agree about scn punk, all the members are very mature, except for a few forum posters. But the new community at scn punk is interesting though, I'm sure if punk gets some new members it will gain its old glory back. Well DGDN has many young forumers and members so that explains all the smilies. But it's a very friendly community, just like here, which is the most important thing imo.

Has anyone read Anabasis by Xenophon? I'm reading a Dutch translation now. Interesting to read, but quite corrupted by Xenophon's personal opinion and way to make things seem better and bigger then they really are (a Persian army of around 1.000.000 soldiers in one battle???). Maybe it's the translation, but he doesn't seem to be such a good writer either, not introducing things or working out his characters too well.

Every week I'll post an article here about the history of mankind until the conquest of Gaul by Caesar. I'm following a course now about this time period, so this will also help me studying it So expect the first one somewhere next week.

I dunno, I regard them all as equal. Well the only teams I'm still following are Punk and Dragon, and I think both are equal. Punk is probably better for site layout and some projects and Dragon is better with its community (although it's a bit too young imo). Anyway, they are all great teams and I think and hope they will remain equal in quality and maturity.

I'm sure there will be terrain that ressembles roads, like in aok and aom. But I asume you don't mean graphical only, but also a functional ability. Don't think that will be implemented, would probably make the game a bit too complicated.
