  2. The original post of this pinned thread needs an update or to be unpinned. If updated: First URL should be replaced by https://gitea.wildfiregames.com/0ad/0ad/wiki/GameplayFeatureStatus (a page which was last updated 6 years ago). The second one isn't really replaceable, as we are now working with issues as well as pull requests. Therefore needs to be deleted or declared as old.

  4. People always build towers and research 'Sentries' in the hope of having a strong defense system after research completion. But, a tower without garrisoned soldiers is a present for your enemy. Better destroy your own tower early before letting it fall in the handy of your opponents, if you're not capable of garrisoning your best swords men there. It's not a bug, it's not unintended, it's part of the players own strategy.

  11. Maybe we should adjust the answer to the corresponding FAQ. IMO: Abandoning the alpha-versioning doesn't mean the community is resilient enough for a murderous increase of players and need for moderation due to a listing in Steam etc. I take over the 'disgusting place'-argumentation of @Seleucids. Have you used the search function of the forum software with the query 'steam'? There are many more arguments than the ones stated in this thread.

  14. Hello loforox and welcome to the forums! I have to admit, I never used this feature. But after consulting the hotkeys menu and the tooltips I still understand it like you and can reproduce it (Alpha 27), that no highlighting is happening. Hopefully some other forum users may help us out.
  15. I had the same problem and after 'a few tries' (for me the third) it worked.
  16. I completely agree! Building multiple defense towers poses a similar problem, where an automatically garrisoning could be great. The big issues is the number of garrisoning/working slots to be filled. Shall it be a full take or maybe just two soldiers/workers each?

The idea of adding our beloved game to platforms like Steam, GoG, Microsoft Store etc. has been discussed many times. Most results of the discussions consisted of "Won't do it".   18. Hey Deicide4u, I guess I share the passion or the game with you, I really love 0 A.D. As far as I understand the timeframe around this non-existing year 0, it doesn't cover the time after AD 500. Have a look at the FAQ How about more factions? where you might find a link to Millenium A.D. covering the AD 500–1000 timeframe. E.g. Bulgarian king Simeon I. (AD 864-927) would fit in it as well. I really want to encourage you to use the search function, where I or example found a similar request from last fall.
  19. Was just about to open an issue on Gitea for you when reading that the team bonus is for allies only and the specific tech includes neutral competitors as well.

  21. FYI: Issue #6918 (New setting for world population distributed by teams) has been closed last week by the merge of pull request #7161 (Add a 'team population' gamesetting) into the main branch. Therefore it'll probably be part of Release 28.
