As the Civilization 'Germans' have been implemented in the development version of the game and therefore will be included in Release 28—I'm curious how the poll would turn out for place two today. I guess the Scythians & Xiongnu (combo deal) will keep their lead, but would the option Syracusans (of Sicily) still hold the silver medal?
  2. Grab a nightly build and start playing . But beware: the multiplayer lobby might be empty.
  3. In general I wouldn't oppose a special button or hotkey—if there's enough place for that in the GUI. I guess you will answer with QOL, but what hinders you to add your troops to a control group (CTRL+<0-9>) before garrisoning the ship with them? Then send your ship to the destination press U (unload all) followed by <0-9>?
  4. Hi paczek, welcome back to the forums! I understand your approach. Personally I like it more to have the ship selected after unloading units, because then I can reorder the ship to another place. Therefore I'd suggest implementing a new option in the settings where players can decide whether they like the auto-selection of unloaded units or ongoing selection of the ship. Another question is, which setting should be the default one. If an implementation into the main game becomes possible, the Gameplay Discussion forum would be the right place for a request for comments. As far as I understand the development of 0 A.D., this would qualify for a pull request. Best wishes, obelix

I'd understand having a bipolar use ('Backlog' and 'Release <next>'; excluding 'Website / Forum' and a potential milestone for 'Release <the next one>' just before the release of <next>) but not this tripolar one.

  16. The original post of this pinned thread needs an update or to be unpinned. If updated: First URL should be replaced by https://gitea.wildfiregames.com/0ad/0ad/wiki/GameplayFeatureStatus (a page which was last updated 6 years ago). The second one isn't really replaceable, as we are now working with issues as well as pull requests. Therefore needs to be deleted or declared as old.

  18. People always build towers and research 'Sentries' in the hope of having a strong defense system after research completion. But, a tower without garrisoned soldiers is a present for your enemy. Better destroy your own tower early before letting it fall in the handy of your opponents, if you're not capable of garrisoning your best swords men there. It's not a bug, it's not unintended, it's part of the players own strategy.
