[Millenium A.D. Part1] Saxon Architectual Reference Pack
niektb replied to Le Druide Gaulois's topic in Art dev
Of course, we're not going to throw it away. That Well might be funny for a capturable farming bonus on skirmish maps (for some kind of strategic point) -

What is it? A corral? -
Indeed, there is already a thread about Byzantines:

@wowgetoffyourcellphone: I just heard that the old actor files are still working (since I was fearing the same )
-
You just need to edit it, and put those linebreaks back in AFAIK

Several "Failed to validate entity template" error
niektb replied to wackyserious's topic in Bug reports
@wackyserious: indeed we didn't yet update Millennium A.D. to the latest SVN (which has some fundamental changes to auras, hence the error) (I haven't looked into the 2nd and 3rd error) -
Just post a screenshot like this:

These 2 don't conflict with each other (though you might want to disable one when playing the other). Could you provide a screenshot of your installation folder? (So I can see what possibly might go wrong)
-
@Tomcelmare: it works perfectly fine here, could you give a bit more info?

Nothing special to mention but Rise of the East has been updated to Alpha 20 (along with some fixes thanks to our great testers! ) http://www.moddb.com/mods/rote/downloads/rise-of-the-east-20 How to install: 1. Unzip the download but leave the inner archive intact. 2. Place the unzipped folder into /binaries/data/mods. You'll see another folder there called 'public'. 3. Launch the game and enable the mod in Options>Mod Selection. Press 'Start Mods'. 4. Enjoy the mod!

Sure it does, but you need to type in the IP manually (no such thing as autodiscovery available yet)
-
What kind of names do you refer to? AI names? You can make a pull request IMO.
-
@wackyserious: now you need to help me a bit: are the 2nd and the 4th the new meshes? (I guess so) but what's the difference between them? (also, TBH, I like the colors and especially the ornaments on the older ones more)

@wowgetoffyourcellphone: I think that if you would 'piece out' those autumn oak. that would be a really nice addition to the vanilla game. I didn't grab the update since I was so close to being already finished that I didn't want to start over again.

1. I've fixed it. Thanks for reporting!

5. some suggestions were made in the past, so they could be added 7. I think we have Guilin for showcasing purposes
-
@Marcin1: It's not possible

@wowgetoffyourcellphone: 1. I didn't do that portrait since I never would give it a transparency 2-4. buildings: I don't think there will be redesigns anytime soon but if you can point out (with screenshots?) some of these stretch issues then I might be able to take a look into these. I do not consider these release blockers though. 5. Crossbows were really a common weapon (believe it or not) so making champions of them wouldn't be correct (I first had them as champions but some Chinese historians pointed out that they shouldn't be so) 6. Will do 7. Why are sandbox scenarios needed? (why would we make one?)
