  2. that 0 A.D.'s repositories are public so everyone can see development, whereas Fork AD's is private.

  3. Right, the title is a bit BuzzFeed-like. I actually played too but only in sandbox mode, mainly as a moral support. You see that even the hated civilizations can be played well. 2019-06-17_ValihrAnt-1vs2.zip

  4. Quick and dirty screenshot from an MP 4v4 at the 16th minute. This shows: - short requests computation (red) taking 50-90 ms per turn, with the odd peak above - long path requests taking about 20ms - Active queries taking 20-30ms per turn - Sim update (excluding active queries) taking 30-40ms per turn - Motion update taking about 30-40ms per turn. So threading the pathfinder and having unit pushing (which will reduce # of short requests) will help, but it won't be completely smooth sailing.

  5. True, there is nothing wrong with that, there can be good reasons to work privately, nor does one have to go public. However, for the uninformed public, that privateness is probably the primary difference between these projects.

  6. Now I just tried to login again, with the username and password which I filled in like an hour ago (they were still saved) and now the login worked. So maybe It was just a network issue. Since I don't know how your plans for the login are. Wouldn't a account with a email adress be worth a thought? This would make this whole discussion be useless, because I could just reset the password. I don't want to critisize anythink, it is just a suggestion.

  7. I've changed from 9 6 to 9 7, it seems a bit better, but overall they are not centralized. 9 7 9 6

  8. As my name is mentioned here, I permit myself to precise things to not mislead people. Fork AD is exactly saving those 20 years history. Who is closer of the 2000's team? neither current WFG team, nor fork AD team. The more obvious difference is that WFG is linked to SPI and some previous/current donation handled in that context. So it's a matter of choice (and choice leads to freedom): Gredzinger vs Captain Harlock. PS: I'll stop the discussion here as it's already offtopic, if one wants the last word, I let it to him.

  9. If there is clear consensus how and what is to be done, then I suppose I could. However, there is quite a review queue on phabricator already and I already have dozens of patches open, so I'm a bit reluctant to add another one right now.
