After the currently voted Scythians & Xiongnu, in theory another "combo" of two American civs would be nice. It doesn't seem these people did much fighting tho. Zapotecs and maya are good contenders, I don't think we have to only consider civs at their "peak", this is an unnecessary limitation imo. Just because one typically thinks of the maya in later time periods doesn't mean they didn't exist in any significance at 0 A.D. Teotihuacan was apparently founded before 0 a.d. and grew a lot through 250AD, which seems to be a period of urbanization. IDK if this fight is outside the timeframe, but these two cultural centers seem to be as much city-states as greek ones we have in game: https://www.science.org/content/article/astounding-new-finds-suggest-ancient-empire-may-be-hiding-plain-sight However, it is science reporting which tends to be flawed.

Today i had very unplesant experience in a game. A player named DoctorOrgans insulted me for the whole game just because I'm simply better player. He sees only 1 viable strategy and it is "follow me", "do what i say".. If you simply ignoring this toxic player he starts calling you "idiot" and other bad words. This is not first time but many many times. How this can be resolved? Am I the only player person who experienced such low IQ behaviour?

Oh, you came here for facts' civ#4? Bad news, this isn't that. Good news, I have a better suggestion. We have 14 civs. Which is a good number (can be better with my 3 new civs). But you know what we actually need more of? 0 A.D My suggestion - *hold your breath* 0AD 2. We need 2 0ADs. I might have actually outdone myself (No, I don't want an Oscar, Grammy or Nobel Prize, my contributions are solely for the betterment of society) This new 0AD will have no new features (Development community needs rest). It is meant to split the player base and cause madness and confusion. Buahahahahahaha I am mad scientist! Chaos! Conquer! cheers, facts (oh facts) P.S: Maybe look into 3 0ADs?

Not really. Rome is the only case following this rule. And like you mentioned, saying the Punic Wars period is the golden age is very debatable, I would not agree on this for example. Honestly this is a bad idea and I am pretty sure most people would agree it should be changed. Furthermore the buildings are inspired from later architecture not the architecture from the Punic Wars. So it is even not coherent.

I think you can keep the uniqueness by just switching the costs around. The most valuable damage IG is ranged damage. Make ranged cost metal+1 other instead of just wood/food. Change the cost of melee from metal+1other to wood/food. Keeps uniqueness and makes it more fair, imo.

Yeah, same problem with the Mauryas in Delenda Est. I've been meaning to come up with some kind of caste or peasant system for those civs without thralls/slaves, but I've spent time on other things. Any ideas?

I have been berated by this player once and it kept me from playing the game for months afterwards. His remarks were extremely sexist in nature and just generally appalling. I wish there were a way to keep people like this from playing the game because I genuinely don't like being in the same space as him.

Cheers, this player is handicapped, he can only communicate in this way, it is his way of existing and of inviting you to play as he would like to play in your place. We have to accept it and be handicapped friendly.
