I keep doing models for maybe release the carolingian faction the next alpha client. models done are >Dock >Sentry Tower >Lorsch Abbey (School proposal) >(Maybe walls)

I think because most people here only have a limited amount of time to spend on this, by all means, if they feel they can make a contribution now, I think they should just do it when they have that time, even if it may only become relevant or useful later on. We just need to try to keep serious track of what has already been done, and what really needs doing. Personally, I'm currently working full-time, just became uncle/god-father, have limited time before I go back to Ghana, and need to get so many things unrelated to 0 A.D. done, which really drain the amount of time I can spend on this [awesome] project. So anytime someone offers their help, opinion or contribution to this mod, however big or small, I get really excited Thank you @fabio and @Lion.Kanzen for your participation When I find some time, I will be providing a complete preliminary unit roster, as well as necessary lists of building and unit props. On a side note, the homepage for Microsoft's Bing search engine features a beautiful new image everyday. On 25 / 05 / 2017, this image was a photograph of the Begrawiya Royal Necropolis at Meroe. A beautiful illustration of this history, slowly becoming part of the mainstream historical canon.

IMHO I think it would better to first bother about creating something (that's worth) to translate before bothering about finding translators (though taking into account that the mod might be translated in the future isn't bad)

But I think there really is only one choice: Alpha 23 Wololo We certainly know that the term "wololo" isn't complete bullshit. And by adding a new cheat unit we could easily justify that name. Typing "wololooo" should spawn a super monk that will convert all enemies very fast by wololo-ing them. What do you think?

lol @stanislas69. What a way to turn my crap art skills into something better. @Palaxin too. As a bit of warning, though, I tried not to make it too much like the logos of "Toyota", "Mercedes-Benz"... and even the Peace Symbol.

There are still ways to get the game onto Steam if that's a path that is chosen, but I don't think Steam or any other platform or service should be the only solution. It's not good to force people to use another platform, and especially hard to justify forcing people to use a non-Open Source platform to get mods for an Open Source game. To me the ideal would be if WFG could provide a place where you could search for mods, read descriptions about mods, rate them and comment on them, but where you would click on links to go to other platforms (ModDB, Nexusmods, Steam Workshop?, maybe there are others I don't know about) to get them. That way we would be able to provide a useful place to get information about mods, make it easy for mod authors/mod users to use sites/services they already are familiar with, without us having to either rely on one particular service or take the negative sides of hosting the mods ourselves (bandwidth usage, responsibility if not for the mods working as they are supposed to at least that they don't break the game/your computer). But even that does take quite some work to implement, especially since it would require user accounts and permissions etc. Perhaps could be done as a plugin to the forums, but then that requires knowledge of the IPB code, so not something that will be done overnight anyway =)
