Useful links: How to Import/export assets and bake AO maps in Blender3D Blender 3D UV unwrapping tips How to export animations from Blender3D to 0AD Tips & requirements of the engine: - Approx triangle count for buildings: small 2k-5k, mid 4k-6k, big 6k-8k, wonders 8k-12k. - The engine uses .DAE (Collada) format for models and animations. - The engine does not render double-faced polys, so if you want a polygon with both faces rendered, you need to duplicate it and flip the normals. - The engine does not tile the textures like blender does, so when UV mapping, keep the UV islands within the texture space. - We use two UV coordinates, one with overlapping UVs for diffuse, normal/parallax and specularity and another non-overlapping for AO maps. - Building models need to extend below the ground (-Z axis) because it can be visible when the building is constructed in uneven terrain. - To get the correct scale it is very useful to import a building from the game into blender as a reference.   2. Hi, I tried this game and it was really addictive and amazing...but there is 1 problem, the game lag sometimes when i have more than 50 units or something...I hope this game success it has really good gameplay... sry if i have any grammar mistakes

You seem like a well-educated person, so do you have an alternative term to describe these peoples?I think that choosing names that the peoples identified themselves would be a better choice than choosing a Romanized (unless they're Roman) or contemporary name. It would be the most neutral choice. However, if there is a lack of knowledge on what they call themselves, then there isn't much that can be done.

  4. Translation support is being worked on already, so that should not be a reason why you should or shouldn't donate. However, the actual translations will need to be done by people who speak the language. Maybe you, maybe someone else will translate the game into Turkish. There are already translations for several languages though (the actual translation system/translations will not be coming to the game until most likely Alpha 16, which is not the next to be released, but the one after that), so as Turkish is a reasonably large language I'm sure it won't be long before someone starts to work on it.

Hi jacklle228 this is open source by that I mean when it's ready since the project always has varying resources (people who actually contribute) so if you have any talent and the TIME just jump in and help if not just play the game report bugs and your options and so help shape the game Enjoy the Choice

  10. They probably called themselves by the name of the tribe they belonged to. Since there were multiple tribes, using a geographical term just like we to for the Gauls will have to suffice.

  11. Thanks! I still need to tweak the short segment, do the medium segment and the long one, after that we have the market, military settlement, dock, corral, wonder, library, and last but definitely not least, the lighthouse

  12. We can't use mix culturas that dint great battle etc. Remember we are chosen the most important. And split Alamanni and Franks. After 15 alpha can be good idea a survey or a pool. To know what are doing right and whst are wrong obviusly our target can be old school player and leave the casual. Sorry for topic off but, I'm thinking how the game as progress with last alphas and optimization and feedback from fundraiser. Go back with topic. We have 12 factions empires besieged (0ADEB).

  13. The Belgians could straddle the Celtic and Germanic "cultures" of the game the same way the Macedonians will straddle the Greek and Successor "cultures." That's one possibility.

  14. One of the problems I have with the Egyptian buildings right now is the oversaturated stone colors. Makes it look cartoony compared to the others.

  15. @lucho : Thanks for the map! I like it. I enjoy a lot how much you stressed the relief, having these cliffs and depths. To my opinion, two factions instead of 4 would be better on a map of that size, but my opinion isn't best because I play very rarely and I'm the kind who love quiet game, few battles, a lot of time to enjoy the landscape and build the town peacefully Keep the good work lucho, you seem like a good map-maker!
