  2. Releaae March 28th, 2026: - Champions are now stronger and worth the cost. - Two new trainable heroes. Demetrius for the Hellenes and Caratacos for the Celts. - Population cap is back to 300. - The AI is now stronger, with more massive attack waves.

  4. The gaul trumpeters should make sound. I was just scrolling reddit on the trumpeters. Some user says it's somewhat altered and provides 3 other examples: https://open.spotify.com/episode/0eABuyDFXAM09jKd7MWPZh?si=vc-gGIsATEij3GbV-p0Ebg&t=1 https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cgk1p8xk7z7o https://www.instagram.com/reel/DU4spHMAM1H/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ==
  5. I really like the idea and would test it out in a (community) mod! May I request to have this and all related messages from 2026-03-23 moved to a proper thread?
  6. While reading through the pinned thread I came to the position that it should be moved to 0 A.D. -> General Discussion. Guess most people will search it there ...
  7. Improve the AI's personality rather then efficiency. Rather then a balanced army, make it so that they have a certain build in mind to play against you. Mass horseman, siege focused, spearman mania, ranger runner, champion gigachads build type of memes. The goal is to have fun rather then being competative all the time, as well as strategize many weird build to counter their army rather then booming, turtling and aggresive only, might as well introduce a new strategy called countering Sun-Tzu.

  9. asia.xmlasia.pmp This map has 1024x1024 size. The first step was to add rivers correctly without geo-reference. I used this guide: Rivers are intentionally not crossable to make the map strategically more captivating so there are some bridges that are strategically pivotal. For biome assignment I started from a coarse reference map: and then I refined it zone by zone with Koppen-Geiger classification: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Koppen-Geiger_Map_v2_Asia_1991–2020.svg For fauna and flora, I used Claude AI as a lookup tool: I sent screenshots of the entities available in the game and asked it to match them to each biome and region. The results below reflect that process, with occasional liberties where the asset library has no close equivalent. For more infos: https://github.com/Baelish03/0ad-maps/blob/main/docs/Asia.md I attach .xml and .pmp files here and I will update mods on mod.io as soon as possible
  10. ????? @Ginnungagap what's your lobby username??? I thought you ded after your christmas games TT
  11. @willbont Have you tried disabling GPU Skinning? What about switching from OpenGL to Vulkan rendering (if your GPU supports it)? Are there any warnings or errors in the game logs? The below can't be true, as mods are not found within the game's root directory. They are installed in your My Documents/My Games/0ad path.
  12. Delenda Est is not compatible with A27, and because of that I haven't enabled it at all. my version of A26 was deleted a while ago, along with the Delenda Est mod within it. I was trying to fix a bug with the Atlas scenario editor by deleting v26, but it ended up not working. The current issue is with the A28 version, I cannot navigate around due to the missing texts on its interface nor play the game at all.
  13. @willbont Maybe you need to download again the last version of Delenda Est here? And make sure you delete the old folder from your mod folder before installing it.

    Campaign maps

Not it will not. I agree that we kind of abused campaigns in that sense.
  16. you mean that it'll be solved?
  17. I downloaded the new version of the game and it gave me the bugs shown in the attached screenshots. It shows me no text, and when I start a new game, it shows me a bugged out and unplayable map. I kept the older version just in case this one didn't work, something I should've done with the V26 version since the V27 version does not run the Delenda Est mod, and good thing I did, because the V27 version is running normally, so I can still enjoy the game. Either way, is this happening to anyone else on the V28 version? Is there a fix for it? Thank you.

    Campaign maps

Also R28 has no new maps so no campaign
  19. If you don't like the Delenda Est mod, you can disable it in the "Mod Selection" screen. There are currently no official campaigns, only some tutorial mission as a demo campaign. You can play some custom Scenarios, Skirmish maps and Random maps. And multiplayer, but I wouldn't recommend that until you can beat the Very Hard AI first.
  20. Hi, I've been playing 0ad for some months last year, and when I installed the game on my new computer yesterday I wanted to play a campaign, however when I create the new campaign I can't see any scenario, so I cannot play. I tried also the matches option and it works fine. So I installed delenda est and some other mods, and (with delenda) some maps appeared also in the campaign option, even the classic maps. But there were two problems: I personally don't like the mod and also I couldn't play with the normal game maps (like foothills). I also tried to reinstall the game, 0ad-data and which. I'm using arch. Do you know if it is a bug, or if I need to download something? Thank you :)
  21. This makes me think that part of the description for each AI difficulty should be it’s corresponding rating.
  22. Great... ! If only was possible to use Vanilla minimap ...
  23. I don't know if it was fixed or not, I just noticed the Debian bug is still open: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1008531 If you have time to investigate, I opened this gitea issue: https://gitea.wildfiregames.com/0ad/0ad/issues/8855 (feel free to assign it to you)
  24. Would be very nice to list all the things to improve so we can keep working on the AI. There are also some AI mods that seem to have good improvements.
  25. I wouldn't say it's very low, but decent. Very low maybe for a player who can be considered a veteran of the game or "pro". But yes, there are still some issues. The AI doesn't counter-react to player's strategy, doesn't heal its units well, and still sends his gatherers to distant resources. Another major issue is the grouping logic, as the AI keeps sending attacking units in a straight line. Oh, and the classic one: it doesn't use Civilians only for gathering food and wood, and CS only for mining.
