Worked for me. Just did the pull request, #9221

So i've played the civ and they seem to have only fishing and trade ships. IMO they could have a very light ship just for scouting and transport. Strabo mentions sewn boats, but it's unclear what they are and if they are even scythian I've seen one source suggest these could be Scythian boats covered in animal hide; but they might also be foreign plank boats https://www.researchgate.net/publication/331018044_Ancient_Mediterranean_Sewn-Boat_Traditions_ANCIENT_MEDITERRANEAN_SEWN-BOAT_TRADITIONS Other option would just be the dugout canoe, used in east european rivers from stone age to medieval period. They are mentioned in Priscus' accounts of the Hun territory, but i'm not sure what people was using them (later Romans would call almost any nomadic people Scythian, even the Goths).

Bug with Roman workers going idle after Marian Reforms upgrade. How to replicate the bug: Play the Romans, select the Marian Reforms upgrade in the fortress. Have several infantry mining stone or metal. When the Marian Reforms upgrade is complete, the mining infantry units will go idle. Or, if you had them queued up to go somewhere else, they go to the next place without finishing the current mining resource. -

I really get sad when reading thread titles like this one and replies seconding it. IMO saying an open source software project 'is wasting its potential!' is discrediting the work of the main developers and the hundreds of contributors who are all doing it voluntarily in their free-time. You can't use key figures like controlling in a capitalistic enterprise does to work for share holders. FYI

They were originally iconoclasts. They did not like to worship images. This is similar to the ark of the covenant; the ark is supposed to be the throne of Yahweh, but for them this altar was where their invisible god was. "Altars were also sometimes used as a representation of the gods. There is little evidence of Nabataean iconoclasm. Most of the deities were portrayed as betyls, sometimes carved in relief and others carried during processions."
-
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nabataean_religion They also worshipped Baalshamin. They are Semites and are related to the Idumeans, Israelites, and Judeans. It has its own gods. They have their sacred monuments. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baetyl

Okay, maybe we don't just have to make the emblem, we also have to make the banners and the flags, sails... The icon of unexplored map. I found my original idea. It appears to be one of those eyes that remove or prevent the so-called evil eye.
-
I like the idea of a date palm, but perhaps something religious would be better.
-
I need to find it and correct it.
-
Yeah, I'm not happy with the one in the first post.
-
I was referring to the forum and a certain person. Lol. I am making symbols. I want it to be not only in DE, I want a version for vanilla and for that I'm working with Lopess. I have 3 proposals. The Eagle of Palmyra. Baalshamin, god of the sky. And finally, a Palmyrene shield. All of these as a proposal for an emblem.

I offered Lopess my help. But for now I'd prefer a faction from the 3rd century AD, Palmyra. Another would be the Antigonid Empire/Kingdom. Include more Italic kingdoms... and more eastern Celts. Also kingdoms of the Black Sea and Anatolia. -

Desculpe-me pelas inconveniências* -

0 A.D. use it's own homemade engine and I don't think that will change anytime soon. Also starting from scratch makes the project above like not that much work in comparison lol
-
Do you think they can start from scratch if they begin with a more modern engine?
-
I think the project below has a lot of support : But it's an herculean task, and I still have no idea how one would bring it to be implemented into the game. There will be a tone of work too for reviewing the proposed (sizable but not crazy neither) engine changes, unit balancing, testing, maybe even adding some animations to make it extra-cool... Also there is the valid concern that it would inevitably add a bit of extra load. I took an approach that's actually super cheap on performance to simulate the interactions but some extra checks to handle collisions while units move with inertia seems unavoidable; and they however, add up a bit of load. So it's difficult to tell if in the end, it would be considered worth it, or be blocking the whole idea.

Civ: Dominate Romans (late Rome)

The mystery cult of Mithras. That's how cults like these came about through pirates and sailors. According to ancient historians such as Plutarch, the Cilician pirates captured by Pompey in the eastern Mediterranean in the 1st century BC already practiced rituals related to Mithras and introduced them into areas of Italy. -
A year ago I made a rather poorly done emblem for this faction. I'll look for it.

For now, it can be used to make quick corrections. The drawing is still mine, but I save myself the trouble of fixing the symmetry and other details. ---Baalshamin is coming---
