  2. I'm not going to say you shouldn't report spam posts, but I will say that generally it's not difficult to see which threads are spam threads, so it's not a big deal if they aren't reported. We are grateful for all posts in other topics though, they are harder to find when e.g. looking through the new posts page.
  3. Today
  4. FTR, I’m not going to go into every post and report it though.
  5. I believe it's better to report those posts to the mod team via the three dots at the top right than pinging individual mods.
  6. If we are going for historical accuracy, should other civs have empire phase (like Persians, Macedonians, Han, and others)
  7. Help!!!! Thousands of new bot threads!’n @Stan` @wowgetoffyourcellphone
  8. It's basically the same code, but I didn't expose all the stuff. e.g Aliases are notoriously a touchy subject. The weights are the default weights the mod had at the time I wrote the app Indeed, I probably haven't updated the code since my last PR. It's hard for me to estimate how much people use replay pallas so updates are usually low in my list of tasks (which is already massive)
  9. @leopard the code may be similar, but LocalRatings (the mod) and Replay Pallàs are independent from each other. So, any change to the mod does not affect Pallàs. LocalRatings (the mod) has a filter menu where the minimim number of matches can be set, as well as other filters. Without having checked myself, I guess Replay Pallàs shows the results with a default combination of filters (as well as a default combination of weights). It probably makes sense that Pallàs uses one default choice: switching from a combination of filters to another implies recalculating the leaderboard in some cases (not when the minimum amount of matches is changed, but for other filters). LocalRatings (the mod) is already case-insensitive. This was implemented not long ago, so I assume Pallàs is based on an older LR version.
  10. @Stan` is using @Mentula's mod to do the localrating things, If mentula fixes it that will be the easiest way to fix in replay pallas.
  11. oh and, can you make a way to make it not case-sensitive? I play as: jagsusindia, Jagsusindia, jagSUSindia, JagsusIndia and so on,and each of them have different profiles
  12. I didn't know we were discussing about that; this is the replay pallas thread what leopard and me mean is that you should do the same for pallas... maybe a 5 or 7 requirement of matches?
  13. I think that was the case in @Mentula's mod

  15. I think local ratings should not rate player as top player based on only one game. I think there should be a minimum game replays before a user gets spot on ranking.
  16. By googling images of "<king's name> crown" one can see plenty of Sasanian coins and representations (consider some kings had many crowns). The crowns of Ardashir I (not the simpler Parthian one, check the famous Ardashir Investiture Relief, he's the one on the right, page 60 in https://archive.org/details/TheTwoEyesOfTheEarth/page/n83/mode/2up), Shapur I and Shapur II look quite similar, like the ones of Heroes 3, 5 and 2 (without the little "crescent" on top), which I'd assign in that order since Ardashir I was the father of Shapur I, and Shapur Il came way later. Then Khosrow I looks like Hero 1 and Khosrow II looks like Hero 4. Choosing some favorable representations for this choice: Ardashir I, on the right (Hero 3) Shapur I (Hero 5) Shapur Il (Hero 2) Khosrow I (Hero 1) Khosrow II (Hero 4).

  18. Thanks! I will work on this. Almost everything is different though so I’m not sure where to start that’s partly why I was putting some of the info here. and calling me at least, a developer is way too kind
  19. Doesn’t matter, the power in the game would be the combination of bow and arrow. So, for the first point the consequences were ok, just badly explained, the second point would have been wrong, except in very specific combinations of armour and distance, and the third point was somewhat misleading, but maybe acceptable.
  20. Dear developers, I just had a look at you GitHub repo and like to suggest two aspects: @Asher has a short description in his About section of the Scouting mod repo as well as a link to this forum topic. I'd really recommend that for people having context (instead maybe your github.io). Regarding your README.md you could as well add some changelog information and a description what your changes to vanilla your mod does. Here you could insert a link to github.io (or this forum topic).
  21. You're welcome! Your new readme file is very instructive, thanks!
  22. I knew you would find some issues with it. I like to generalize a lot thanks for cleaning some of that up. Although I think the way we have them differentiated right now from a game standpoint still makes more sense. But I’ll take a closer look. we don’t exactly differentiate the type of arrows, although that could be written somewhere in the tool tip probably. the ranges and rate of fires should be on the spreadsheet we set up! So if they need to be changed just let me know!
  23. Looks like some kind of infinite loop, do you have the game logs ? you can also upload the saved game as well.
  24. Some test i've been doing to match the skin tone of the head:
