Reliable mobile communication is essential for protecting personal safety and free cellphone service managing family healthcare. In emergency situations, immediate access to 911 dispatchers, emergency medical technicians, and crisis hotlines saves lives. For low income households, seniors, and vulnerable individuals, maintaining continuous cellular service is a critical safety need. Federal wireless assistance programs provide reliable connectivity, ensuring that emergency communication remains accessible at all times. The Critical Role of Mobile Phones in Emergencies During critical emergencies, every second counts. Whether dealing with a home fire, a medical emergency, or severe weather, a mobile phone provides an immediate link to first responders and emergency dispatchers. Wireless devices allow callers to reach emergency services from anywhere, without needing a traditional landline. This portability is especially vital during natural disasters when families may need to evacuate quickly. Enhanced 911 (E911) Location Capabilities Modern cellular devices automatically transmit geographic location data directly to emergency dispatchers during 911 calls. This Enhanced 911 technology helps first responders locate callers quickly, even if the caller is unable to give their exact address. Subsidized cellular plans through EnTouch Wireless fully support E911 services on nationwide networks. This feature provides essential safety and peace of mind for vulnerable individuals living alone or in remote areas. Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) Cellular devices automatically receive Wireless Emergency Alerts broadcast by local and federal public safety agencies. These geo targeted text alerts notify residents of severe weather threats, flash floods, evacuation orders, and missing person emergencies. Receiving these alerts promptly gives families the critical time they need to prepare, seek shelter, or evacuate safely. Subsidized mobile plans ensure that all households receive these life safety alerts regardless of their financial situation. Transforming Healthcare Delivery with Telehealth Telehealth services have become an essential part of modern healthcare, making it easier for patients to consult with doctors remotely. Virtual visits save patients time and travel costs while providing convenient access to medical advice. Reliable cellular voice and data connections make these virtual consultations possible from home. Lifeline programs ensure that low income patients have the connectivity needed to participate in virtual visits and manage their ongoing care. Chronic Disease and Medication Management Managing chronic health conditions like diabetes, asthma, or hypertension requires regular communication with healthcare providers. Mobile connectivity lets patients schedule appointments, monitor vital signs, and receive important care reminders. Phones also make it easy to manage prescription refills with pharmacies, helping prevent missed doses. Through reliable government phone services, patients can manage their health proactively and avoid unnecessary hospital visits. Supporting Senior Independence and Caregivers For older adults living independently, a mobile phone provides a vital link to family members, caregivers, and medical providers. Seniors can quickly call for assistance if they feel unwell or experience a fall at home. Caregivers can also check in regularly with elderly relatives and coordinate appointments with healthcare teams. Having a dependable free service phone helps seniors maintain their independence safely at home. Ensuring Mental Health Support Access Mental health support is just as important as physical healthcare for overall wellbeing. The national 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline offers free, confidential 24/7 support for individuals experiencing emotional distress or mental health crises. Calling or texting 988 connects individuals directly with trained crisis counselors who can provide immediate support and local resources. Lifeline cellular plans ensure that this vital lifeline is always available when help is needed most. Qualifying for Essential Safety Connectivity Qualifying for safety focused cellular connectivity is straightforward through existing program participation or household income. Enrolling takes just a few minutes, providing reliable mobile service for your household. The National Verifier reviews applications quickly, and approved SIM cards are shipped directly to your door. With service activated, your household gains an essential communication tool for healthcare and emergency safety. Frequently Asked Questions Can I dial 911 if my monthly voice minutes run out? Yes, under federal law, all mobile phones must be able to dial 911 regardless of remaining account balances, plan status, or active subscriptions. As long as your phone has battery power and a cellular signal, your 911 call will connect. Does dialing 988 use my monthly voice minutes? Calls and text messages to the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline are free and do not count against your monthly voice minutes or text allowances on supported networks. Can I use telehealth video apps on my Lifeline device? Yes, you can use telehealth video platforms over cellular data or by connecting your device to a local Wi-Fi network. Using Wi-Fi for video visits helps conserve your monthly high speed cellular data. Will my phone receive emergency alerts during power outages? Yes, mobile phones will continue to receive Wireless Emergency Alerts during local power outages as long as your phone is charged and local cell towers remain operational on backup power. Conclusion A reliable mobile phone is an essential tool for protecting personal safety, managing healthcare, and responding to emergencies. Federal communication assistance initiatives remove financial barriers, ensuring vulnerable households maintain continuous access to first responders, doctors, and crisis support networks. Partnering with EnTouch Wireless provides your family with dependable cellular connectivity, delivering peace of mind and essential safety every day.

Le projet de 0ad après l'an 1 est il toujours envisagé ?
El Maker replied to El Maker's topic in 1,000 A.D.
Okay! A few more questions came to mind, so I thought I’d ask… Can we contribute to this project? Is there a playable or downloadable demo available? -

If the product has special storage requirements, those should be followed as well. Consumers should check the expiration date and avoid using products that appear damaged, contaminated, or significantly different from their original condition.

Art must not die. It's incredible that they knew Rome was colorful and didn't paint it. The world's largest outdoor set. -
Someone should pick up that patch again.

"Realism" doesn't make a game better, it's just that maybe the last 10-20 years this was what people were trained to believe, how else can you sell a new hardware every other year . Some of the most legendary games are from the 80' and 90' after all. Anyway correct wall physic is computationally much more expensive, and if you do it with walls why stop there. How about buildings, trees or terrain? You see were this is going. Lag is always much worse then some bending of realism.

I get the same 500, no worry, Thanks for filing non the less.

Gauls dont seem to have used bows that much until later in gallic wars. For Cimbrian celtic allies i'd have Volcae Swordsman Tigurini (helvetian) Spearman Maybe also Toygeni (helvetian) slinger if you really want a ranged unit. Did it accidentally twice (https://gitea.wildfiregames.com/0ad/0ad/issues/9305 and https://gitea.wildfiregames.com/0ad/0ad/issues/9306) because when creating them I got a server error. I cannot access them because of that issue ("500 Internal Server Error Gitea Version: 1.26.4+1-g1ac57c9699").

Well walls can be attacked by arrows normally, I’d just: raise their pierce resistance so that arrows don’t affect them almost at all fix it so that they take attacks by projectiles not aimed at them Neither should be too hard, I feel like the functionality is already in the game

Wanted to start with this easy part, but after switching to main and building (both Debug and Release), menu issues are still present, and this happens: video.mp4

Antigonid Kingdom Faction Design Document 1. Faction Overview The Antigonid Kingdom represents the Hellenistic Macedonian state ruled by the Antigonid dynasty from the late 4th century BC to 168 BC. Unlike the Macedonian armies of Philip II and Alexander the Great, the Antigonid military system represents a later stage of Hellenistic warfare. Its core remains the Macedonian phalanx, but it relies more heavily on a combination of Macedonian, Greek and mercenary troops, supported by cavalry, specialist infantry and war elephants. The faction should therefore not feel like a second Macedonian faction. Faction Identity A mature Hellenistic Macedonian army built around the phalanx, supported by specialist troops, mercenaries, cavalry and elephants. The Antigonids should excel at: - Heavy infantry and phalanx warfare - Combined-arms warfare - Specialist and mercenary troops - Elite royal infantry - War elephants - Sustained land warfare The faction should be less dependent on elite cavalry than Macedonia and less centered on elephants than Epirus. Naval Identity The Antigonid Kingdom should have a moderate but important naval capability, reflecting Macedonia's involvement in the Aegean and the importance of controlling maritime routes and coastal positions. The navy should primarily support the land army through: - - Coastal operations - Control of nearby sea routes - Support for military operations in Greece and the Aegean The Antigonids should not be a dedicated naval faction. Their naval strength should complement their powerful land army rather than define it. Land power remains the core of the faction, while naval control provides strategic support.

I think they could be potrayted through the mod's hero system. Choosing a hero from a later period unlocks Antigonid units.

I acknowledge that 0AD uses rather 2 D (or 2.5D) hence modelling arrows crossing a wall might be a challenge. This was probably the reason for stopping movement but allow attacking through the wall. Funny enough, this works from both sides of the wall: it is hard to keep my troops inside the wall away from the attacking the enemy and they are fighting back although they shouldn't need to (same reason: enemy is near and in reach of the weapons but cannot move much closer. Wall defense should be left to the troops manning the wall and its turrets (still working on a mod that allows running along a wall towards the actual attack. Currently, the wall segment attacked does not get replenishment or help form adjacent segments)
-
I agree that this is the case currently. But should it? Walls were supposed to protect people from attacks.
