Hey you're only getting your learners permit now?Yeah, just the learners permit for now. In Texas (don't know about other states), the car insurance cost goes up when a teenage license is added to the insurance, but it doesn't go up if it's a permit instead of a full license (go figure). Anyhow, I don't really need the license yet, since I can drive as much as I need/want with the permit as long as there is an adult in the front seat. I like what my friend said (you'll see him as DKATyler here once in a while): "I'll be driving for the rest of my life, why start as soon as possible?"
