I think you're right, but I suspect that was also a quote from the original origin.Actually, I had to do a bit of research for this, but it's apparently credited to Sally Field when she received her Oscar for her role in "Sybil". During her acceptance speech, she said (gushing, no doubt) "Now I know you love me; you really love me!".It's quite famously ripped off as a pop culture exaggeration of self-obsessed praise-mongering.
