wowgetoffyourcellphone
Yeah is very skinny. Neck is almost the length of the body. Looks like a race horse or English riding horse. Not a war horse or work horse.

Lion.Kanzen
Is supossed be small before Iron Age. Quote As early as 490 BC a breed of large horses was bred in the Nisaean plain in Media to carry men with increasing amounts of armour (Herodotus 7,40 & 9,20), but large horses were still very exceptional at this time. By the 4th century BC the Chinese during the Warring States period (403–221 BC) began to use cavalry against rival states,[2] and by 331 BC when Alexander the Great defeated the Persians the use of chariots in battle was obsolete in most nations; despite a few ineffective attempts to revive scythed chariots. However, chariots remained in use for ceremonial purposes such as carrying the victorious general in a Roman triumph, or for racing. The southern Britons met Julius Caesar with chariots in 55 and 54 BC, but by the time of the Roman conquest of Britain a century later chariots were obsolete, even in Britannia. The last mention of chariot use in battle was by the Caledonians at the Mons Graupius, in 84 AD.
Alexandermb
after checking a lot of angles and following the bow direction, i found that this is the most suitable animation for the arrow fire at 90 degrees the bow, start clipping all the path to the pose with the horse, or the arrow, clipping the head.

Lion.Kanzen
Es cuero? @stanislas69 you have quiver textures? if isn't possible I can try make one tomorrow.
Alexandermb
deberia ser cuero, son nómadas antiguos así que tal vez cuero con algo de decoración, o si no tela también tendrán alijabas cilíndricas de cuero

wolflance
Note that Xiongnu did not use round shield (the only depiction of Xiongnu with shield that I know has them armed with rectangular shield), although others non-Xiongnu nomads may had use it. Just saying. Edited September 7, 2017 by wolflance
Alexandermb
that's for test the animations, the only xiongnu props they are using are the bows, arrow and quiver. but the animations are specially for them i couldn't imagine nomads with the actual cavalry animations Edited September 7, 2017 by Alexandermb

Lion.Kanzen
So we can only focus on the rider?
Alexandermb
i guess the head is slightly small, but the size is ok as @Lion.Kanzen in the meantime while enrique come. the skeleton and animations can work on any other mesh similar to the horse, it will need only be adjusted to have the new mesh to the skeleton
