Gyokko上弦
In real-time strategy (RTS) games, "micro" refers to a player's ability to efficiently and effectively control individual units during a real-time battle. The term "micro" refers to "micro-management", which focuses on the detailed management of small tasks. In RTS, micro involves controlling the position, orientation, speed, and attacks of each individual unit on the battlefield to maximize its effectiveness and minimize its vulnerability. Micro can also involve the use of special abilities of individual units, such as the ability to heal or deal additional damage, and fast movement of units to evade enemy attacks. The skill of micro is crucial in competitive RTS, as it can make the difference between victory and defeat in a battle. Players who master micro are often able to inflict more damage on the enemy while keeping their own units safe. To learn how to do micro in an RTS game, like any other skill, practice and patience are needed. Here are some tips that can help: Know your units: It is important to know the abilities and limitations of each unit you are using so you can use them more effectively on the battlefield. Practice: To improve in micro, you need to practice. You can do this by playing against AI or practicing on special maps designed to train micro. Observe experienced players: You can learn a lot by watching experienced players online. Observe how they handle their units and how they move on the battlefield. Use keyboard shortcuts: Keyboard shortcuts can help you control your units more efficiently. Spend time learning the most useful shortcuts. Train your precision: Precision in micro is important, so you can train by doing exercises to improve your mouse or control skills. Analyze your games: After each game, take the time to analyze what you did well and what you did wrong. Look for ways to improve and think about how you could have better managed your units. Remember that micro is only one part of an RTS game. It is also important to have good macro-management (resource management and base building). With practice and dedication, you can improve in both skills and become a more effective player. I hope this helps many less experienced players understand what micro is and how to train it!

Gurken Khan
@MarcusAureliu#s I might be wrong about the state of AI (chatbots) but I think they wouldn't give you an explanation for a "MICRO" acronym that comes out as "MIDRO".

Yekaterina
Micro tips: No more than 4 units per tree to reduce pathfinder lag - moving units around is called micromanagement. Try to spread out the women on berries to take advantage of regeneration and pathfinder Always put melee units in front of your ranged units, but also try to move them to where the exposed enemy ranged units are. Melee cavalry charges into a group of enemies from the sides of their formation; avoid using melee cavalry to fight directly with enemy melee infantry. Spread out archers.

Lion.Kanzen
It's true it looks like gpt chat when you ask something generally, this is going to sound weird but it sounds like it doesn't have a soul and feelings. The way of writing is empty. It lacks bias or emotions towards what it is supposed to excite.
BreakfastBurrito_007
in a26 sniping beats any other kind of micro by a huge margin. There is simply nothing else that will give you as much value per click as sniping. A step by step for how to snipe can be seen at the discussion below. I hope that with unit roles, balance, and other gameplay changes, sniping will have a less critical role in battles and other micro techniques will come forward.
