  1. By system info we mean what your computer is looking like; what OS you are running and hardware details. Best to post the interestinglog.html and system_info.txt here. Depending on your Operating System the folder where you can find them is explained here: http://trac.wildfiregames.com/wiki/GameDataPaths You need to have the log folder.

  4. Sorry, I misunderstood you. You can re-use every file/actor without the need of copying it to your own folder.
  5. Oh, and what office writer do you use? I suggest you turn to a normal code editor like Sublime Text or Notepad++. (This makes it better readable and editable)
  6. Yes, but also preserve the map structure (like feneur said). A while ago I made an example of this (for my tutorial about modding, this is explained there too). I'm attaching it here. You only need to make sure that the testmod folder is at the same place as the public folder. A small update from my texturing business: What it has: - a roof that adapts nicely the player's color - Baked AO-maps What it needs: - A full re-texture except the roof (and maybe those red bars) since I don't like the wall and wood textures since they lack a certain detail. Same goes for the door. On top of that you still see some seems since the textures weren't placed exactly against each other. Let me know what you think of it right now!

  11. You're right: the blood grove should be done in the texture (even though no normal maps are being used for weapons)
  12. The hilt (or grip) is good, however the blade needs to be slightly adjusted: In your sample the blade isn't going slightly inwards.

  17. What we need to know is what kind of boats the Vikings used in their daily live. The Karvi ship is suitable (I think) as a combi of fishing and trading ship. Two more ships should be choosen. What we need are references and a description of for what they were used.

  21. Sorry, I have this week a couple of tests so I had to study and didn't had the time to create tasks for the Vikings. Will try this week.
  22. When I load my newly created ao map it gives the following error: ERROR: Failed to convert grayscale texture "art/textures/skins/structural/ao/H_Tower_AO.png" - only RGB textures are currently supported Why? It is just a normal png file but with alpha channel removed.
  23. I think this one is a bit unnecessary since archers already have scatter (and thus on average inflict less the longer the range is). Weather and seasons should be in the same patch. Loyalty and sympathy are basically the same isn't it? Let's postpone formations for a while since in vanilla there is already being worked at.
