  1. Outcast Deluxe Edition - Offer ends in 1 day, 20 hours.
  2. https://www.gog.com/game/oddworld_abes_oddysee - Offer ends in 42 hours
  3. Using the Stylus add-on, I have been able to create an alternative CSS forum theme. It's not perfect, not finished, but at least it features darker font colors and darker buttons/tabs. It might please @GunChleoc (well, I hope). https://pastebin.com/pM09fkvn
  4. Guys, this HAS to be available for players (as an option, I agree but please add this view to A23). I want this view so much.
  5. 0AD discord server: https://discord.gg/jTZeRP
  6. Yes, I am digging this topic up because ... it already existed (and I didn't want to create another thread with the same topic). Free games (hurry up to add them to your Steam game library): http://store.steampowered.com/app/113020/Monaco_Whats_Yours_Is_Mine/ - Offer ends September 8th at 10AM Pacific http://store.steampowered.com/app/368420/Mirage_Arcane_Warfare/ - Offer ends September 7th at 10AM Pacific Time (bad critics, unfortunately...) https://www.humblebundle.com/store/the-walking-dead-season-1 - Offer ends in 1 day and 22 hours
  7. I suggest to use the Stylus add-on (do not use Stylish, it sends your personal statistics usage by default, while the Stylus fork doesn't) to test new (trac and/or forum) themes. One can also upload themes on https://userstyles.org/ @daker I prefer dark themes, have you ever thought of creating one? (for trac and the forum) ?
  8. Hi I just found this interesting software. Free for non-commercial use. What's new? Official website Description from cgchannel article:
  9. Just don't listen to him.. I get errors like those when I try to grab files from the SVN repository: It happened too when I tried to clone the source code repository from SVN. Using the Github clone fixed these errors for the source code. That's why I am asking you (devs) to create a clone of the art source files onto Github. It will make git users' life easier. Thanks
  10. I managed to successfully get the source code from https://github.com/0ad/0ad but now I am looking for Art Source files from Github too. Could you please create another repository on your Github account for the art source ? For example, a clone of https://svn.wildfiregames.com/public/art_source/trunk/ that could be located at https://github.com/0ad/art_source/ ? Please, please.. https://trac.wildfiregames.com/ticket/4753#ticket
  11. Hi Leper. Indeed, it seems I couldn't find the thread you linked (above) because it is hidden for normal users. About Github: Sorry if I showed a certain insistence, I guess I have been stubborn about that one, I won't add more arguments in the related thread (nor here, it would be off topic), I just think Github is a nice choice. btw, it also features tags (they are called "labels" on Github).
  12. Hello I noticed you were searching for a Social Media Manager. Facebook announcement here: Are you still looking for someone ? Because I think you really need someone to actively work on your social media promotion.. Hense my posts: - here (about making social media icons more visible), - and this one (about allowing players to upload replays on GameReplays.org), - and this one (about moving the bug tracker to Github, a much more used and efficiant bug tracker). Just being stared a lot could make you reach the top on the list of games engines) I am so surprised that you don't have more players, more contributors (devs, artists, testers...). Also, posting news about development updates on these Facebook groups wouldn't hurt making 0AD more known: - https://www.facebook.com/groups/RTSgameslovers/ - https://www.facebook.com/groups/IndieGameDevs/ I don't know why this makes me upset but I think your game is too good to stay in the shadows of net.
  13. - and also twitch ... Enrique's livestreams ( https://www.twitch.tv/exmanko ) PS: sadly it seems he removed past videos from his twitch page.
  14. Hello. Could it be possible to add other social media icons on the front page ? https://www.reddit.com/r/0ad/ https://www.youtube.com/user/play0ad https://www.gamereplays.org/ needs to be created (see also : link ) and why not icons for - forum - irc channel
  15. I think you should allow players to upload 0AD replays onto https://www.gamereplays.org (and you should promote sharing replays on this website as well). It's a website quite known in the "RTS games" community. 0AD deserves to be there. examples: https://www.gamereplays.org/openra/replays.php?game=92&tab=popular&show=index&tab_new=upcoming&display_mode=standard https://www.gamereplays.org/commandandconquer3/replays.php?game=22
  16. Just an example: clicking on Active Tickets takes ~ 20 seconds just to display the page... And I am not talking about how painful it is to create custom tickets queries.

  18. If you need a renderfarm for your big projects. Completely free. You can also help Sheepit by allowing them to use your CPU/GPU to render other's images. https://www.sheepit-renderfarm.com/index.php
  19. Do you think that the most known and largest open-source code hosting platform & version control system in the world would shutdown just like that? Without warning the 20 million users and maintainers of 57 million repositories ? The company announced, on 29 July 2015, that Github raised $250 million in funding and at the time, some financial reports valued the company at approximately $2 billion... I don't think they will shutdown anytime soon.... CodePlex shut down but measures were taken for the migration and no developer was taken by surprise. I understand your point to keep control of your repository and bug tracker but by doing that, you continue to use outdated and inefficient tools while you could increase your productivity and interactivity with your contributors by using modern tools like the Github bug tracker. You are afraid of a possible future Github shutdown but it's not going to happen before many many many years.. (if that happens).
  20. SmartGit is much more user-friendly, it supports Git & SVN, it's free for personal use (you just have to enter a fake email during the setup/installation process). PS: no, I am not affiliated in any way with them. I have just tested many git GUIs. Regarding "moving to github", while I understand the arguments for not moving the whole repository to github (and I agree with most of the points), I still think it would be interesting (in term of "ease of use", speed, sorting options) to just move the bug tracker to Github. There are tools to perform this task : https://github.com/robertoschwald/migrate-trac-issues-to-github Frankly, Trac is sooo slow and so un- user-friendly. It's sort of a pain to use it. With Github, you can create milestones, tags (labels), assign developers to issues, link other issues in comments by just typing the issue ID, get donations for fixing issues (with Bountysource), mute comments, embed code lines in comments, ... but the speed and ease of use guys, frankly it's night and day.
