  1. Just in case you still don't see it:
  2. When defining if you have conquered the enemy, we could check for the ability to build a civ center after the last one was destroyed. If the AI doesn't have enough resources or units left to do that and its army is small, it is doomed.
  3. I'm no lawyer, but from what I can discern from the laws posted is that as long as the symbol can't be confused with the illegal symbol, it is not a problem.
  4. If we make the arms facing counterclockwise and add little dots and not rotate it 45°, nobody should have a case. Compare the first two pictures here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swastika With this one: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nazi_symbolism#Nazi_flag
  5. Shift the rank from above the avatar to below the avatar and people won't get confused.
  6. No. Open Source projects are often communities, rather than being owned by one big boss.

  9. Also, coding takes a looooong time, so please don't be disappointed if nobody should take up your suggestion
  10. This would not work if somebody has moved countries or for multicultural countries.
  11. If I say "curva" in Polish it means a woman selling certain ... let's say "services" ... it is used as a swear word. If I say "curva" in Portuguese, it means "curve" If I say "bicha" in European Portuguese, it's a queue. As every Brit knows, queuing up is polite. In Brazilian Portuguese, it is not a polite word and means something completely different.
  12. Excellent! You deserve a special smilie for that:
  13. I'd say use the swastikas and the naked breasts, it's historically accurate. People who's first reaction is to be offended might actually learn something when they complain and get a reply from us.
  14. You should also make some form of config file for the language names, so they can appear in a menu. Then document it, so people can add new languages themselves.
  15. Once the system is stable, it would be good to have an easy option for translators to add their language no matter how far advanced the translation is, so we can test our translations in-game.
  16. It's in Spanish language, actually
  17. Here's an old carving containing the Lupa: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Altar_Mars_Venus_Massimo.jpg And Roman coins: http://www.coinarchives.com/a/results.php?results=100&search=Romulus And of course the famous statue: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capitoline_Wolf
  18. For me as well, so I guess it's something specific to your system?
  19. Wonderful! Is Idle_03 a yawn? I would hold it a bit longer, timing-wise.
  20. Never happened to me. It might help the devs to know which OS and browser you are using.
  21. We already have an Arabic and a Chinese translator signed up, so I would think this should be ready for gold, so their work can be used.
  22. This is definitely a Transifex bug. Download, edit with Virtaal and upload the changes. If Transifex should complain about the file you're trying to upload, open and save in Poedit. Poedit does some checks on the file that Virtaal does not, but I personally prefer Virtaal as an editor otherwise,
  23. Now you're confusing the territory of modern nations with where ancient tribes used to live. Only because Celtic culture used to thrive in a geographic region that's now part of Germany, this doesn't turn Germans into Celts. Do some research on the Voelkerwanderung and you'll understand why the one is not identical to the other.
  24. We could add a [needs revision] tag to such texts, so it will be easier to track down later which ones still need working on.
  25. Well, I like it when they survive, so I can talk to people
