  5. Perhaps pronounce an ancient language from India for the Mauryan faction? We got the Ptolemics next, but I am not sure if they speak Greek, or Egyptian?

  8. Yeah, I never understood the purpose of those units in that game. Nor do I understand why the Iroquis would need big shields for.

  10. They are nice covers I used in my medieval games. Age of Empires 3 Iroquis uses some kind of shield unit.
  11. Yep, if a legion is stationed in one area for a long time, people move to get protection, and eventually replace the wooden fort with stone. The Romans would build bath houses and even aqueducts.

  14. Well it would it not make sense if you couldnt increase the number of garrison in a fortress either?
  15. I am suggesting to diversify the deals by packaging different ethnic groups of mercenaries for each kind of embassy. This way it wont feel as if you are specializing in one group of people, and yet still provide that option to specialize only in the embassy you chose.

  17. Didn't the Carthaginians have a mixture of different ethnicity? I always get confused to see a one sided deal of Itallic Mercenaries for instance. I'm not saying that your idea is bad. But what if the buildings weren't diverse in ethnicity, but in different "groups" of mercenaries? Such as one embassy gives you a mixture of Itallic, Gaulish, and Celtiberian Mercenaries.

  19. Now I find it difficult to support a side. It makes sense that a roman army camp should only support as much as a fortress. But not all fortresses can hold an army?

  22. I agree with Zoot. We should focus on the game first. Then those who want to go further can work on the DLCs. Besides, I am hoping the Bronze Age mod Egyptians would look different from the Ptolemies. Im going to look up the navies and warships of the ptolemics. My library has lots of books of Egyptian seafaring for some odd reason.
  23. Why does the garrison for the Roman Army Camp have to be reduced? I thought Roman Army Camps were built to hold a Roman army? If it is too powerful, then I suggest lowering the hitpoints of the building. Not the amount of troops it holds. That doesn't make sense.
  24. I was thinking along the lines of having the original mercenary buildings and include the allied player embassy.
