  1. Possible, though I doubt they would be able to run the game anyway. I'm not saying we should give up support for smaller screens (and in turn older computers) too easily, but it's certainly beginning to seem like we might be able to move on at least a little without leaving too many behind.

  4. I also got a discount code, and since I'm unlikely to pay the release price (even with -10%) for this, you can PM me if you are interested

  6. Ah. Well kushites don't have siege engines besides the siege tower. They use elephants to destroy buildings. The only chance for no elephants to occur is to play on a medium or smaller map (which is the case) so that the chance that no elephant stables is placed is significant. Gaia units are also ordered to not capture (otherwise they would stand around trying to capture houses rather than fight the enemy soldiers.) It's not gaias task to end the game however, it's the players task. But I recognize that this may end up in a situation where gaia is too powerful in order for players to defeat each other while not being powerful enough to end the match one way or another. So I guess there should be an elephant stables at any time (PITA to implement with that CityPainter thing), or the wonder could spawn elephants too. I guess I'll try that. Speaking about the CityPainter, the buildings must also be aligned with the path so that units don't become trapped, but I failed to implement it correctly and it increased the loading screen time by a minute (because its supposed to work with any kind of shape like circles too, so it has to test many points -.-)

  8. Tried it but it lags a lot on the old laptop I'm currently using. Seems to be a bit more advanced than the last time I came across it, playable as a mini-game/mode, but far from done. Could end up a fine game though.

  16. This. This one looks really sweet. If we ever have campaigns in the game, the cities should look like this. Very nice work. You should add a little bit of post processing effects and some more details along the coast and enable waves and that's a really nice promotional screen shot

  17. Rebuilt on an island after the sack by Nebuchadnezzar's army, Tyre flourished as the prime Phoenician city-state, ruling the waves, and setting up colonies as far as North Africa. Alexander's armies laid siege in 332 BCE by connecting the island to the mainland via an earthen causeway so that his army and siege towers could reach the rich treasuries within the palaces and temple complexes throughout the city.
