  2. For completeness you might compare a single player match (which has no hashes) between the two versions. This will tell us if there is something else at play. When the stuttering happens is one of your cores at 100% ? You could upload the A27 replays too. Have you tried profiler 2? It will show you where it's taking time. Maybe we should merge the two threads.

  3. Sorry I missed this. A "garrison" refers to a host of troops stationed at an outpost or defensive location. So the idea is you paid for some soldiers to be stationed at the fortress, which is why you get additional default arrows.

  4. @myliverhatesme It's a Moderngui bug, I though i ported all the new async pages in a27 but I might have overlooked at this. It's only when you open it in game thoughts.

  7. Great civ, used to be my favourite. Pros: Epic boom, the fastest civ aside from Romans. Ranged cav + pikeman is a strong combo. Great champion options, instant unlock, then boosted cataphracts. Has something at every range so that you are never stuffed. Military colony allows you to gain map control without too much investment, then you have cheap CC bonus on top of it. Elephant spam with Nikator is nearly unstoppable. Has nice siege options to kill turtle players or troll with siege towers. Siege has become relevant again in A27. Cons: Your skirmishers will get sniped by Ptolemie slings in the first battle, then GG with your 0.2KD. No citizen class melee cavalry - can't really go full cav spam army unlike the other cav civs mentioned above. Champions and mercs are a bit too expensive at ~ min 15 but of course no problem if the game lasts more than 20 minutes. No slings and can't get too many archers in early game. You die against snipers.

  8. I haven't seen this mentioned but to encourage people to attack to destroy a building instead of weaken/capture/delete make deleting a building take time proportional to build time. Seems more realistic. Why should you just instantly be able to demolish a building just because you control it? One could argue that like building, you use workers to destroy a building and the more workers the faster it's destroyed but that sounds tedious. Instead just make it take time to demolish a building. So if someone is trying to get an enemy building out of the way, attacking it is more beneficial since it's destroyed quicker. But if they want to use it then obviously capturing is beneficial.

  9. Frankly, it does make sense: glorious expansion extends the max population cap but you still need the corresponding number of houses. Actually, I believe this was the same since at least A26, if not longer.

  10. Frankly, I am afraig that we might get more, and more serious, complaints about cheating or users leaving a game that they are about to loose. We are barely managing now even it is "only" about individual ratings. As soon as money is involved I am afraid we will see more issues. Just my twocents (as a noob single player only, of course).

  11. I'm not sure what 0 A.D. needs is gambling. The game has a pretty intense multiplayer as it is.
