  1. I'm finally working toward finishing the mod, starting with wood balance. Roadmap: - Release 1.0.0: Wood balance, straggler berry tree balance. - Release 2.0.0: Hidden map gen zone of control mechanic, to allow large scale resource balance while still having the map look natural, and be resilient under varying map size/number of players. Metal/Stone balance. At this point I will view Mainland Balanced as feature complete. Then I will consider porting the changes to other maps or merging stuff to 0 A.D.

Not the first map I've made using Atlas editor, but it's the first I'm feeling rather satisfied about I had the Nile river delta in mind but I wasn't looking to create an accurate representation this time. This map is basically a river system deep enough to hold the largest class warships, with every bit of land connected by shallows and therefore not requiring ships at all. Thought it might provide a fun and interesting scenario with a lot of possibilities. Any thoughts/suggestions?

  4. everything is fine until you get to min 30, then everyone started getting game errors until eventually the host does and then we get kicked out the game :/

  5. I think there could be more large stone deposits. Stone can be hard to locate after I've exhausted the initial supply close to my starting base.

  6. A starting point could be undo the changes to Persian immortals. I never saw anyone playing them any more after they had the chance to switch between spear and bow. Please make them spear only champs with high HP as for any other CIV with spear INF champ. And also add an upgrade for barracks to make them there, because of the palace build limit. This would add a nice non CAV strat to Persians.

  9. They can always be countered by melee or jav cav, as long as the unit itself is not too op. But i agree nevertheless, towers already dont do very much damage and need quite some time to make any impact. It would be strange if archer cav could just ignore them bc out of range.
