  1. Champions have been dominant units in past alphas, however these units are no longer seen in the game, neither in 1v1 or TG. For me it's a big waste of material, so I'm willing to put together a patch to make them viable again and I count on everyone's opinion/suggestion to be able to put together a patch as suitable as possible. My three primary suggestions are: 1- Reduce costs; 2- Give champion units special abilities, like fire cav / immortals. That way you will have a bigger and more specific proposal to train these units. 3- Both. So what do you think?

  3. When I want to select an entity I often do need to do this twice or three times, until I get the control panel. I see the entity is highlighted but I get no response to my try to select it. 0ad is a time critical game, especially horses often get lost, because I can not select them in time to draw them back. I play in 0.1x turtle speed and do a lot of micro managing especially in small battle situations, and this unnecessary losses are annoying. I thought this was due to my trusty PS2 mouse which served me well in non gaming tasks several years. So I bought a "gaming mouse" (GEM SPG 147) but it is the same. Or is my hardware unsuitable? I do have an Intel 9600k which is mostly running around 4.4 GHz and a nvidia 1650 Super on medium graphic displays.

  4. I updated ResetQueue to version 0.26.2. The main change is a new hotkey that clears the trail of production queues: in other words, all but the current item are removed from the production queue. This hotkey is in addition to the existing one, that completely clears the production queue (including the current item). Further, with the new version, hotkeys are not mapped by default to pre-set keybindings; I noticed that some users find conflicts with existing keybindings, so it's better to leave the choice open.   5. i searched for motivation postings. why player love this game like so: site:https://wildfiregames.com what makes the game so special - motivation so i think maybe interesting to start this post. what i personally really much love is: i could try modify it self ( We chose to release the art of 0 A.D. under CC BY-SA to allow people to mod the game ..(2010, https://wiki.creativecommons.org/wiki/Case_Studies/0_A.D.) meet people all over the world works in linux (and many other OS) i love hotkeys instead of mouse movements => i love autoCiv <3 and love modify it (of course other great mods: boonGui,kateAutoCiv,feldmap, .... but autoCiv ist the most important for me) and yes i love strategies very much more then shut and run thinks. sometimes i feel a bit uncomfortable that's it being a some kind of war game. and yes i don't like decrease pop self (we often do it if we are in popMax) BTW some motivation you could also find here: https://wildfiregames.com/forum/topic/18475-where-are-you-from/

  6. @thephilosopher I went directly from resource gathering to fighting, I'm sure I didn't give additional orders - and still the back to work button didn't appear when the trespasser was dead. Edit: Maybe my "mistake" was that I didn't de- and re-select those soldiers; I did that with those horsies above. Edit2: Nah, tried that too; guess it doesn't feel like showing up this game...
