  1. Hello, this was fixed in the development version and an experimental minor version OSX bundle was published in January, to allow people to use Atlas. However it wasn't tested extensively and we have been preparing the next release for some time so it never became the default OSX bundle. You can find it at http://releases.wildfiregames.com/rc/. Does it solve your problem?

  10. i don't liked the idea of the ghost ships spawning arrows from the root, so with the people inside the ships. they use the original ranged animations, and i've made two animations more for right and left side crew. in this order they will attack or defend (simulated, this don't affect at all damage or defense) A D B C A D B C A D B C A and B use the ranged animation. C and D use the shield raised animation. Note: that was the snekkja ship i've made, here you can see the difference of the ships

  12. @Strannik Yeah. I get what you mean but sometimes you can pick new stuff you thought was not possible in blender so it's always nice to watch. So I can't speak for anyone else but I'd like to see how you do it Also when you have an anim done it would bbecool to attach the blendfiles so if or when you to leqve there would still be a trace of what you've done Anyway thanks for the good work and not giving up

  13. Hi all ! Not sure I should create a thread for such a little thing... In the script below, you'll find a function which creates heightmaps, an alternative to diamonds square method. Smoothing is integrated in the function, and is scale based, not uniformly applied on all tiles. Maybe this could profit to someone. More of it, you can reapply the function on parts of the map (with different parameters of course). In landscape-3, a rough mountain is surrounded with softier terrain. Don't tell me painting and starting placement are really poor. Yeah, I know... I haven't yet fully scavenged FeXor great work, but I will soon ! aFractalDemo.zip

  14. Well, I think the current version of the game, when finished would be the "arcade" version I was referring too. Nothing needs to be trimmed of the current game, in fact, a number of elements still need to be added. But it would essentially be the finished version of what it is now, designed to the wishes of the online gaming community, tailor-made for competitive online gameplay, as we see in the recent surge of youtube video's being posted. The playing style is similar to AOEII, and follows the tradition of classic RTS games. It would something like 0 A.D. Classic The second much more expansive version I was talking about, would go a lot further and deeper in every level of gameplay and visuals. Much more realistic, naturalistic, immersive and time-consuming. Something incorporating elements from classic rts games like the Age of Empires series and Rise of Nations, but at the same time breaking free from the dogma of classic RTS, and incorporating city building elements from games like the Anno Series, or the Pharaoh and Caesar series from sierra entertainment, as well contemporary examples like Banished, and finally include an actual economy management element to the game, with a large amount of goods that can produced and traded and need to be transported and stockpiled, instead of metal, stone, wood and food… Managing an actual population… Much larger and realistic maps, Infinite diversity in building types and variations, environment, wildlife, units and animations… Animations for everything! Even playing kids in the streets of your bustling little town, and laborers working away in your industries as porters shuffle resources and finished products back and forth and housewives visit the markets for grocery shopping. More realistic dimensions too. Some people will complain the units look like ants next too the trees and buildings, but they can play the "arcade" version, 0 A.D. Classic. It would bloat the game to several GB's in size, but I wouldn't mind… I also just realized this is the forum for Delenda Est, and might not be the most appropriate place to discuss these ideas.. My apologies for that.

  15. Created with Heightmaps. Next thing i should try to use is the rmgen librarys, the tedious work of painting terrain is hell. Night view Despite the size of the map (Small), it's not playable (Lag), but it should be if i remove 90% of the rocks on the map. Enjoy the view! Btw, @wackyserious those roads are great! You should consider on making corners(Square/Rounded). @Alexandermb I urge to commit your models.
