  1. The last svn update seems to have broken the seleucid champion tech of the last age, that let you choose between traditional army or reformed one. Now you can't have any champion except elephants...

  5. I like your last picture, Lordgood. For me, your revamped building set is better than the existing one. It's more distinctive from the Gauls, than the current one. I don't if the changes will be accepted or not, but I vote for it!

  6. You will hate me, but I think this bugged the upgrade feature. If tower have 10 limit, then upgrade the tower to stone (or whatever), it counts it twice toward limit. Probably not intended behavior. http://trac.wildfiregames.com/changeset/18791

  8. It would be intriquing if the game had some texture settings in actor that allowed for texture transitions. For instance, imagine the wheat fields texture transition from green to yellow for the course of 5 minutes. And in this instance, the texture of the thatch transition from yellowish (new building, new material, is yellow) to the grey-brown (the thatch has aged). I will say that the less saturate (grey) brown is better than the saturate brown. The original yellow texture meant "new construction" to me. So, it is difficuly to make a hard choice on preference. Maybe use yellow for Britons and the gray-brown for the Gauls or vice versa. Easy way to differ them.

  12. Rome was powerful throughout history, so much so that one point in time simply doesn't do the civilization justice, which led to the choice of the Republican Manipular army during the Second Punic War alongside Carthage, due to the focus on 500 B.C. to 1 B.C. in Part 1 Empires Ascendant. Hence the long term plan to also include a few other Roman civilizations in order to do Rome justice: the Early Empire (Marian Reforms), Late Empire (Trajan), and Byzantines in Part 2 Empires Besieged focused on 1 A.D. to 500 A.D., which is planned to also include other civilizations at their prime during the period and campaigns.

  14. Committed "Sentry Tower" in r18786 yesterday. An updated icon could be used (though not essential for this release). Adding stone cost would change the gameplay significantly, even if it's only 25. So perhaps it's good as is for now. Progression is a nice concept. Also the XP system for units should become more prevalent.

  15. Definitely, progression for towers would be a logical choice.

  17. Added 3 bones to the rig for capes animation. All capes in the game already rigged and set up to work with the armature, now I just have to animate those bones on the anims I already have in stock. Animated shield in the back of the chopping animation, have to test it in-game when I fix my PC. Here is a glimpse of some more animations on the way...
