  2. Thought this was a great video to share, (maybe for reference to use on naval formations, etc) ...

  3. You might also contact the maintainer of the Mint 0ad package that is in though I suspect that it's from the Ubuntu's Trusty repo's and therefore not the current version of 0ad at all last I looked the trusty version was alpha 19 not 20 I would reinforce FeXoR's recommendation to use the main ppa not the dev version the dev version does break fairly often usually java script missteps but a bit a pain in the butt if you don't update daily as most of the devs do though they use svn or git for that not the ppa Enjoy the Choice

  4. I am skeptical of the aura changes, Testudo formation isn't going to be replaced by Pax Romana, since formations simply haven't been fully implemented yet. Also Pax Romana and Romanization are Roman Empire concepts not Roman Republic concepts, so Pax Romana and Romanization simply don't work with the Roman Republic, especially since the Roman Empire is planned to be included as a separate faction for Part 2 Empires Besieged.

  5. @imperium: Rogue Republic has nothing to do with this mod idea

  6. It's probably a good idea yeah. Probably not going to happen for technical reasons as it's really difficult to do. That exists, though all ships can travel through shallows. Seeing as our maps aren't very big, and it's hard to make them big without making it difficult to run the game on anything but the most powerful computers, it's probably going to have to be that way. Otherwise the places where ships can go are very limited. The AI is not finished, and is very likely to always be a bit behind as features need to be implemented first and then the AI needs to be adapted to take advantage of them. At the moment we don't have an AI programmer, so it might take a bit longer than usual for that reason. Pathfinding is one of the harder parts of game development to get right, but it's certainly an issue we are aware of and working on. Again, AI is always likely to lag behind a bit with new features. You're welcome! A big part of why we do this is so that people can enjoy the game

  9. Yes you can. Did you by any chance try to register two accounts on less than one hour on the same connection ? Also make sure you have no firewalls blocking the connection. Make sure port 20585 port is open on your routers

  14. The first error looks like your missing the dev package for the java script engine though since I see Xcode you are building on OSX which I'm not that familiar with. Enjoy the Choice
