  2. @lilypoppy What about a git for writing pre-production audio scripts , such as the sample you gave me or one for promotional videos ? Would you like to use something like this ?
  3. I already have a basic Scenario 2; we could go ahead and create this git.
  4. There are ways to turn it into a single campaign, when we have more than one scenario put together I can set it up.
  5. Today
  6. This is all awesome, the age of paid software is coming to an end! FOSS Forever!
  7. Nono, I am interested lol, I was just joking. (I also love coming back to notifications, makes me feel accomplished)
  8. @NiRa Muso MIOZOTO I don't know by what telepathic mechanism, but I happen to be wondering with @Nicolaus_von_Kues. He suggested having a primary instance (GitLab) and a secondary one. Another question is that I’m going to have five scenarios—one involving an .xml file, another a .Pmp file, plus some JavaScript files. and I’m wondering how to organize all these scenarios into a single mod ?
  9. @lilypoppy Do you like the idea of a git repository for writing story campaigns ?
  10. Maybe check the console for you browser, that would probably give a more detailed error
  11. I'm aware of this tool, I was thinking more about a behaviour like this : https://youtu.be/f9pYZ9lf7oU?si=Q9uZjvYXnG93YRyq&t=87 (Empire Earth Scenario Editor) Yeah, I know :p Just telling what could be nice, no big deal
  12. Have you done this at the end? Maybe it would fit with something like what I just proposed. I agree https://gitea.wildfiregames.com/0ad/0ad/issues/5672 should be closed. It makes no sense to have Issues stating that maybe there's a problem, many versions past, reported by one person 7 years ago, when just "reinstallation might help" but there was no follow up. If there's still a problem someone will open an Issue again (or better, reopen that one). I don't see why that would be the case, it could be implemented not substantially changing present gameplay, as remarked at the end: Have the sound files been retrieved? Would be a shame not to get this out of the way if "even a non-technical user could get it done in less than an hour".
  13. Try private browsing or cleaning cookies. If none of those work, I'd restart my PC. After that, you'd need to search for more specific solutions...
  14. You would like to add a Blitz-chess addiction to your already existing 0 AD addiction ? Join our lichess team: https://lichess.org/team/eae-we-play-0-ad Players of all levels are welcome. 15. Lua integration could be useful, but profiling the actual bottlenecks first would help the team focus on what needs fixing. I’ve seen similar performance discussions in gaming communities, and real benchmarks are always more useful than guesses. Even tools like delta executor roblox show how much scripting matters in gaming, though engine performance depends on the implementation.
  16. Great work getting this running! Docker support should make setup much easier for others to try. It would be interesting to see how well reconnecting and AI matches hold up in longer games.
  17. I am not against it and it should only be done if someone is dedidcated. Else it's gonna be dead real quick
  18. Are you using an ad blocker? I think it worked when I disabled it
  19. We have historians on the forum. But we've never coordinated a department or a forum for campaigns; there are things like that where I don't know which current photo should go, in general, or gameplay... I'm thinking of giving him some script that you have.
  20. Uh, we kinda already have some people that are kinda doing the script writing/ history stuff. We have the community historians and @Vanthaand I have worked on the encyclopedia initiative. Yes, the tutorial is currently being worked on, we have an idea on it, a script and a vision on how we want to run narratives. There would be some more obvious progress but @Vantha is hard at work putting the underlying infrastructure in place so we can get going on it.

  22. I cannot do female voices but I could narrate a Mulan centered learning campaign . Her legend dates to between the 4th and 6th century according to Wikipedia .
  23. Don't be discouraged, guys... 0AD's bar is high in many aspects. We just need to be here, working until we achieve professional quality. Apart from the campaign of "lolly poppy" There's the idea of the learning campaign. All of that will take time; ideally, we should start writing a generic script for a presentation of the next release. That's how we test audio.
  24. Here is the latest version post-Atlas 1.13.0. The main thing is a button that was asked for while testing 1.12.0: after you convert a map, you can now open the converted copy in the target game's Atlas without leaving post-Atlas - to fix there what post-Atlas cannot, and to save - and post-Atlas follows it until it comes back. There is also a more detailed preview of findings in 2D and 3D. Hope this tool can be useful when mapping or converting older maps! CHANGELOG.md post-atlas-1.13.0.zip
  25. It gives me the same error when I reload it and when I accept it
  26. You are right - it is actually useless information just describing the map diameter in meters. I replaced it by a radial distance of the object from the playable area. Please see the next version...
