It already is something like this depending on water depth. Altough is is not clearly defined steps, it just depends. Some years ago I made some variants of water scenario maps where I altered the water ways, so that there is more unit-Ship interaction is possible. Human units are already capeable to walk into water until a ??? depth. While naval vessels can only curise with enough water. Fishing boats can float in pretty shallow water, other ships need more depth. As far as I found out, there is one depth were all units are able to use land-Units and all naval vessels. But this was always a try and error modification process.

it was something along those lines. it ended up working after figuring things out, like waiting for the complete extraction before putting it in the mod folder, but it works now. i like what i see, i likely wont comment but silently watch, i only hope development goes swimmingly as time passes

Hmm. Where did you install the mod from? The ModDB page, or the in-game downloader? the purple sounds like you're somehow missing the textures, which probably means your missing the entire art folder. So whenever I'm playing against someone in the multiplayer lobby, I'm afflicted by a recurring issue where the game stops in its tracks and I get the little message in the corner: "Losing connection with server (3s)". I haven't tested whether this happens when I'm hosting or not, since I'm mostly joining games nowadays, but regardless, it's affecting my gameplay experience. Anything I can do? I'm using Ubuntu 24.04 and my internet connection is via Wi-Fi, by the way.

very cool, forgot to say but i have a question, i am trying to play the mod now but i run into an issue where, when i put the mod on, i see only purple missing textures and no units plus a ton of errors. im not familiar with 0ad modding so i wonder if its a this mod specific thing or not
