Loki1950 Posted August 30, 2019 Report Share Posted August 30, 2019 BTW @Alexandermb the mud is not just a skin it's at least 3 cm thick and permeates the wicker so the inside wall is also dried mud got to keep the winds of winter out Scratches and voids where usually repaired with the addition of fresh mud as part of spring preparations and sometimes done so as part of rituals.
