Wonders, Special Buildings, and Special Projects

Spartan special building suggestion? An Agoge, which produces Spartiates at the rate of 1/20 of the population every 5 mins or so, assuming population cap isn't reached.

The Spartans weren't known for grand infrastructure, so I suppose their wonder could just look like an average (but larger!) functional building.

Hmm, they already have the Syssiton, which is basically the Spartan warrior mess hall, as a building that trains Spartaiates and heroes. "The Agoge" as far as I know was the title of their training regimen from a young age... their word for their system of upbringing... rather than their word for a building or structure.

Thanks for the info nugget! :)

Yep. The Parthenon in Nashville, Tennessee. I'm going to be visiting there this Summer! :) My main beef with the reconstruction (besides it being built in concrete instead of marble) is that the original Parthenon was very colorful. Much more colorful.

The inside has a full-sized replica of the Athena statue!

You can rent the space for wedding receptions and other events:

Interesting. It looks like quite a sincere reconstruction (no arcades, lightsabers etc.)

I was wondering if we would put in the tower of Babel, a large ziggurat, or any ziggurats really as a persian wonder of some sort, or scenario piece

I love your ziggurats LordGood! I remember seeing some in your DeviantArt gallery. I'm no surprised you come to suggest that in 0 A.D. :)
