chrstgtr
I've noticed that berries disappear a lot in fog of war this alpha. You will see them and then they will disappear in the fog. Sometimes they show back up in the fog. To be clear, berries aren't getting used up--they're still there if you get them into vision.
Feldfeld
I noticed that too, since the beginning of the alpha (it didn't happen before). It is related to the initial explored area when the game begins, there can be explored berries near the end of the explored area, but when you have a unit scout near the berries, but without the berries being in its line of sight, then the berries will disappear (and that includes the minimap). They will reappear forever when they get in the line of sight of one unit. Edited December 21, 2022 by Feldfeld

Stan`
@wowgetoffyourcellphone Does it happen with other fruit trees as well? Might be https://code.wildfiregames.com/D3868
real_tabasco_sauce
Maybe to add to the description: at game start, Berries are visible as far as the starting exploration circle is. Quickly (maybe immediately) after game start, berries which lie outside starting units' line of site disappear. When units can see the berries, they reappear and remain explored. BreakfastBurrito_007
This issue is not totally game-breaking, but I must admit I have been tripped up once or twice because of it. It seems almost everyone is able to replicate it too, which is interesting.
wowgetoffyourcellphone
I believe this has to do with regeneration, because the same thing happens in Delenda Est with the tree groves, which have a resource regen component, but does not happen to straggler trees which do not have this regen component. @Stan` @Freagarach

Freagarach
(Fixed yesterday in https://trac.wildfiregames.com/changeset/27316. It was a more general bug, existing since 2015, apparently.) 1
