  2. Could someone clarify this? The wikipedia article on Strafgesetzbuch section 86a says this: I'm not suggesting the above article is the answer we're looking for, but it would be useful to find out the facts about Germany's criminal code before commenting further on the subject. And just to be clear, I don't really have a preference for whether the symbol appears on a Mauryan texture or not.
  3. Agreed. Wolfenstein 3D is based during the second world war and features Nazis. These are not the droids you are looking for.

  6. If folks want to pursue recording other languages, we first need help from language experts to submit and verify translated phrases for each of the factions. The only translations we're satisfied with currently are Ancient Greek - those were written and reviewed by a number of individuals with knowledge of Ancient Greek. Since nobody on the team is a language expert, we are relying on the online community to help out with this.   7. I would suggest you begin collecting historical information and create concept sketches (units, buildings) for starters. 0 A.D. is currently based in 500BC to 0AD, so you'll need to consider that when designing new factions.

  9. Walking around the British Museum I see many ancient objects with svastika symbols on them. It's a part of history, there is no issue.

  14. I'd be interested to know if others feel the same way. It was generally agreed at the time that the new female voices were much better quality than the male ones we still have on the svn now.
  15. I believe someone else on the team complained about the new female voices being too loud when I first committed them, so they were quietened in the soundgroup xml file (which also controls the pitch variations you mentioned). There's no need to edit the sound files themselves.
  16. Have you heard the new voices that are in game? We've had voice contributions from two female voice actors
  17. Do players 1 and 2 both have civ centers? Check all your units aren't set as player 'Gaia'
  18. We should use the official font for all the wallpapers. Otherwise we loose the design cohesion we've been trying to achieve
