  1. This sounds very similar to Rise of Nations, the game which got me into RTS games in the first place! looking forward to it very much!
  2. I'd be more than happy if both can be done simultaneously. but im an idiot at game programming bur I also know open source initiatives such as this one don't have a lot of resources to spare for multiple works. Is it really possible?
  3. The khushite "fire arrow" upgrade from the docks does not work. I think we should fix this poorly done naval restructuring first before even considering adding new civilizations. "don't start counting the eggs outside the basket when your basket is already rotten" or some line idk

Indeed, its too costly and rarely usable. tabasco's suggestion is pretty good, but I think we can make spies into two different things; one which does what sauce said, and another which... idk, lets you train spies? who can turn enemy units to your own or smth ? or something else. I will talk about this in detail next week after my exams

  19. My guy has definitely not played enough naval games then lolol. Except Pandravabal, I have never seen someone use only arrow ships and win against everyone. And in Pandrav's case as well it was because he could mass produce them early before anyone could make ram ships. He would build ram ships first to destroy enemy docks,THEN spam arrow ships for dominance. I disagree with this proposal. Village phase is supposed to be the "peaceful" time when you can focus on eco for the next phase. You may include scout ships, sure, but make them unable to attack until they get to town phase. DO not include siege ships in town phase. If you do, then an argument could be made to include catas to town phase in mace civ as well.

  21. @JC (naval supremacist) with his 70 or smth armada of scout ships only obliterated me and sheep in 2v1 scenario... all ships can be useful depending on the scenario
  22. I haven't a single idea how the balancing thought the new naval was a good idea. Ram Ships are def OP broken, any civ that doesn't have either fire ship or ram ship is inherently in a worse position than an enemy who does have them. This is ridiculous: HOW DOES GARRISON NOT AFFECT THE SHIP AT ALL? How is the speed of a ship manned by 30 crew the same speed (slower if the one you're chasing has one single stupid upgrade and you don't) than an ungarrisoned boat? How does it make sense?
