  1. FYI: Applying the patches and clearing the cache doesn't change something - the water still disappears
  2. Good morning, i'll test it again right now, because after installing the patches i don't clear the cache. Maybe this is the reason for the issue. I was just experimenting with several Resolutions and Scalefactors. By this way i've figured out, that without clear the cache also entities etc. wasn't paint. I'll report the results after installing the patches again. Btw, i'm glad to inform you, that, while experimenting, i figured out, that the following Windows Display-Settings causes the "flimmern" posted in another topic: With this settings "150% (empfohlen)" there is absolut no "flimmern". Before i use "100%". This does the trick.

  4. I've just installed all 3 patches and i would like to give some feedback: 1. It's not possible to have maximum "Shadow-Quality", it throws the known error: and, as known, the Shadows are setting to none. 2. With the following settings ... the game doesn't paint water (also in other maps with water): 3. Except the missing water the graphics looks really nice (for the following picture i've deactivate all "Reshade" effects and have the options above: Thanks for your work.

    What i've figured out: i just activated "Delenda Est" and played the map "Hydaspes River" which also contains Banyan and Teak. There is no "flimmer". Starting again my Map the "flimmer" always occurs, but not that bad as without Delenda Est. Maybe it has something to do with my Enviroment-Settings in the biome-file

    Hello again, i don't want to steal your precious time, but there is another small issue. Playing the game as in the videos above with my Tropical-Biome i noticed a ugly "flimmer" related to the entities and/or actors "banyan" and "teak" and maybe "palm_tropical". I've recorded a small video, but i have to upload it here, because after uploading it to YouTube and converting the issue is not so easy to see. Also there is a difference between open the video with VLC or Microsoft Filme & TV (the last shows it more excactly). The video is recorded in Atlas, but playing the game is just the same : Flimmern.mp4 After replacing banyan and teak with other trees without changing anything else, there is no "flimmer" except the palm_tropical. : Maybe it's because the banyan and teak are more complex ?

    Sorry for the delay, but YouTube Studio needs much time to convert the video, so i will embed the Video only in SD. What i've done to get the "flickering": 1. revert the game to rev. 23718 2. don't commented out the line <mesh>skeletal/celt_trader.dae</mesh> , because when it is commented out the flickering never occurs. 3. the result: I'll hope i've it done correctly

  14. Hello, I would like to inform you, that not always the game causes a lag, but the gamer himself : Today i played a match, which suddenly, after hours, gets an ugly lag. The whole time before it was again a joy playing and looking at the fantastic graphics, animation etc. So i was wondering why the lag occurs so suddenly (please excuse my bad English). So, i examined the map and found the reason on the islands. The guys and girls and the elephant where first on that place and gathering. Then i build the CC close to the quarry. After that the guys and girls and the elephant couldn't move themselves. After trying to move the the elephant to CC, at once, the lag disappears. Please watch the short video. So, what can i say: it was my own fault to build the CC too close to the quarry. Not the game causes the lag. The stupid gamer. .

  16. As i said before: "Also changing Display-Resolution and Fontsize from OS, or changing GUI-Scale in local.cfg changes nothing" - why you don't read this? I'm 61 years old, and since the age of 17 i'm dealing with PC's and Programming (starting with Basic and Assembler on C64 ). BTW: in my opinion it's unusual and unnecessary to save the same parameters in several files, this may end in confusion.   21. Nothing, it only bothered me that, if there where many entries in the list, the description-inputbox was covered and you couldn't see what you enter
  22. In Atlas Editor the graphics is still even better then in the game - absolutely fantastic
