  1. You're really coming back in style Nice work!
  2. Has someone moved this? Otherwise it's most definitely in the correct forum
  3. I don't think Kickstarter has got any such limitations, the main reason for going with IndieGogo was that it had benefits for us as a non-profit project (they don't charge as big percentage for their service for non-profit fundraisers perhaps most importantly).
  4. Well, it's certainly sad when someone leaves, and especially someone who has been as important to the project as Michael. However, I wouldn't say today is the day to call dark. It's not as if he's gone from 100% active to leave, but rather a long process. I'll leave it to him to explain his personal motives if he wants to, but the more general picture is this: after the fundraiser failed to get us enough money to hire him (+ a programmer) he's had to focus more on his job. Leaving less and less time for 0 A.D. It's indeed sad as Michael really was/is the person who had the best idea of what the game should play like, and the historical knowledge to complement it. However, the main thing is that we who are active will do our best to work on the game, not to focus on those who are not active at the moment. I would also not worry too much on a more general note, people have left the project before and it's still kept going (Michael has left several times for that matter). Sometimes progress has been slower, sometimes it's been faster. But so far the project has kept going And I don't see us slowing down now, I'd rather say the opposite: we're getting really close to Beta now imho (There's still a lot of work left before the game is finished of course, but there actually aren't that many missing features now.) About Philip /Ykkrosh) I don't think there's any reason to worry either, he's been more active lately than in years. He wasn't going to work on the project for money though, so that's not something that has/will change either for that matter. If he's motivated to work on the project now or in the future - then he will work on it
  5. I could download it just fine. Wonder what would break the download process
  6. Changed you back So welcome back!
  7. Seeing as you hadn't visited the forums for quite a while + said you were focusing on your modding I changed that. I can easily change you back though, if you consider yourself active again now?
  8. http://referencereference.com/ reference videos for both people and animals, though from a quick look the people vids aren't all that relevant, so this topic is probably the best place to post the link anyway
  9. Forwarding a suggestion sent in via our contact form on the web site:
  10. Looking promising. One thing I can't see that is probably one of the more important things to have is version, both mod version and game version. Not sure what "Mod label" is though? Perhaps that's meant to be something like that.
  11. Hopefully someone else on these forums knows more about Mint and can help, but generally its probably better to contact the maintainers of the specific Linux distribution as we have no control over which versions they put where etc.
  12. As far as I know the good thing about the Nile is just that it provided the farmlands with a lot of good soil when it flooded. But of course water is important in general as well.
  13. I'm afraid I can't recall your name, but welcome back nonetheless. We're starting to get a healthy modding community, so I'm sure there are ways you can collaborate with other modders to achieve your goals, at least to some extent.
  14. Wow, didn't realize I hadn't replied here Sorry about that, really thought I had. I definitely think we could/should reimburse Georg with the sum mentioned above. Any objections Aviv or Mish?
  15. As we all are in agreement I think we can move forward without hesitation. Aviv, would you like to contact SPI (alternatively Jan to get info to transfer the money directly from e.g. one of our non-SPI accounts, it just feels as if it's nicer to do things via them if possible) and ask them to help out with reimbursing Jan?
  16. This topic doesn't really add anything new, so I'll just close this topic and any further discussion could take place in that topic (though I'm not sure how much needs to be discussed, it's more a matter of someone actually developing the new win conditions It might be worth adding this victory condition to this ticket though: http://trac.wildfiregames.com/ticket/1649 ).
  17. The official repositories of various Linux distributions are not maintained by us, so we are unable to answer this question. You would have to ask the maintainers of the repositories to get an idea about that.
  18. Did you change the installation folder?
  19. They already have to register an account before placing tickets, but we'd have to make it harder to register to avoid bots from being able to register. The downside to that is that it would make it harder for real people/non-spammers as well, which is why we've been reluctant to do it.
  20. Please note that more hotkeys (i.e. ones to select buildings or construct buildings etc) are not yet implemented, though we do intend to include them eventually. For now you can do things like use Ctrl+1 (through 9) to assign buildings to selection hotkeys (so you then can e.g. press 1 to select your main Civic Center etc). It's not as good of course, but as a small step of the way while you wait for the full thing to be implemented it might be useful
  21. If you had units there to build the CC, why did you let his three units build their walls instead of just killing them and then continuing to build the CC without having to worry about any walls?
  22. Not sure if you've seen this, but it might be a nice source of inspiration in any case: http://www.vikingkings.com/en/dragon-harald-fairhair.html https://www.facebook.com/DrakenHaraldHarfagre/photos_stream
  23. Yeah, + if people write in English more people have a chance to understand. And thus benefit, or help out for that matter. It might be a bit harder for some people, but one can also see it as a chance to learn more English
  24. Do you get some error message or something when trying to use them? Have you tried entering the image URLs in the box that pops up when you press the image button in the toolbar?
  25. Sounds good to me, it's certainly within the limits of what we can pay without issue.
