You habe to protect your catapults with some champs and only use them against buildings/walls. Then they are very valuable in game.

Please don't post things like this (especially not in bold, underlined letters). If you think there is some feature missing in 0 A.D. and you already mentioned it once, you have two options: Be patient and wait until someone implements it. Implement it yourself. Just repeating that something should be implemented doesn't help anything. Furthermore it wastes precious time of the developers.

You cannot register two(3?) accounts within a specific amount of time (I think it was 2 or 3 hours)

A dedicated server for 0AD would require nearly no resources, so it won't be a cost issue if implemented imho.

The problem are not the costs. The problem is there is no dedicated server atm. (we are working on it: #3556)
