  1. A actor file concept for Caros, one of the heroes of the faction. The texture and props for the unit are outdated. Tagging @Genava55 and other individuals who might want to help in updating the hero actor file.
  2. Tweaked the chainmail and added spec map. Also organizing unit actor files to help visually identify each unit of the faction unit roster.
  3. I was wondering if @Alexandermb could be crafting something so I left it out for now.
  4. Note: some of these texture files use the prefix illy_ (Illyrian) and I just added/borrowed it in the Thracian actor files texture distributions.

  6. I also have another question regarding adding new Atlas unit only units, do we currently have a standard on this one? I am asking because I have several ideas for Atlas only units which again I deem to be quite controversial, so I am hoping to find clarity with it. So far, historically relevant, I have the following for special unit work drafts. 1.) Scythian Horse Archer 2.) Illyrian Marine (Pirate) 3.) African Veteran (Punic War) 4.) Slave rebel (Servile War) which I actually added the last time I committed the unit textures for gladiator units (another special unit that we added some months ago) We also have Atlas only heroes (Although I believe they become playable during regicide, iirc?) 1.) Xenophon 2.) Pyrrhus 3.) Leonidas (300 variant) 4.) Several unmounted hero variants
  7. The only solution that I also see, but it also left a question in me, will reforms really be especially during mid or late game? Say if city phase reforms tech brings infantry_pikemen_b-e to Sparta, could it influence gameplay? Skiritai and thorakitai will also add conflict, the same with thureophoroi and Thracian peltasts. We have a more viable option left, to consider adding mercenary camps as capturable map objects. DE had a good mechanic for this one, it does not take population point but you can only train certain numbers of mercenary units for each camp, so you need to capture more camps if you want to train more. I think this is a good gameplay feature, where you compete for gaia owned camps to alter the power balance during the game. I am bumping this because I also felt that this is causing inconsistencies in the game design and fixing this will be a step forward in fixing gameplay and feature inconsistencies.

Appearance: Armed and equipped with looted Italian equipment Garb: Tunic and lorica hamata Helmet: Hellenistic era helmets Shield: Roman scutum painted with Carthaginian symbols Figure(s): - History: Garrison: 1. Function: Heavy infantry. Good for holding the main battle line. Special: Trained by Hannibal.

  11. @Stan` I have not yet committed the textures, it was subjected for review but I forgot to forward it to the people who are supposed to review it. wackyserious_terrains.zip here are the texture files above.
  12. @wowgetoffyourcellphone I am again updating this textures and have renamed them to match the current naming scheme for most textures. I have removed the chain mail sleeves for all textures as @Genava55 pointed out that it could have not been a possibility.

  14. Some of them are clipping with previous textures. I believed @Stan` relayed some .png and raw files of this last month through private message. I will see if I can work with these next week.
  15. Removed the fur, animal pelt would better be a prop, I suppose. I placed a sword belt, in case this texture would be re-used in other units. With tattooing, I guess other more advanced units could go topless to emphasize their tattoos. Also planning to change the assigned textures for the Elite Gallic Cavalry Skirmisher. More light armor and the chainmail would be assigned for the Sword Cavalry, similar to the old designs.

  17. Shifted to the Monte-Bibele type, any suggestions for the shield boss?
  18. Some modifications, and trying to correct the issues with Brennus, specially with the helmet and shield. Here is a proposal.
