@ Josh : that's ok for me. The hull could be a little bit more U shaped, but that will be alright for that boat I think. Can you change your edge style settings in Sketchup ? Those stressed vertices are uncomfortable to fully enjoy your model. There might be some tips about that here : http://www.dummies.com/how-to/content/how-to-modify-edge-settings-in-google-sketchup-8.html Also, to make the thread more visual, can you use the image button to insert your picture, instead of a link ? (unless you prefer it like that, of course)

And a little bit of desert... That map (I don't remember its name) rendered awesomely with all the graphics up. The rock texture looks great under the light. You may have notice, but my screenshots are often empty of human life. That's just because I didn't play the game while "screenshoting" ! If some of you have some nice looking cities or battle saved games that would be worth capturing visually, you can give me the save file and I'll do some screenshots.

Now some nice Greek islands. The "satellite" view is big size, enjoy!

OK, here we go ! First, some Mauryan sights : Maybe those sights with the sky visible should not appear in the official website gallery, as they show the game not in its normal angle... What do you think ?

Stay tuned for some more-than-recent screenshots ! Tonight I've been helped on the chat to update my SVN and get all the graphics at the top, so I finally have been able to enjoy the game at its best and took several shots in some maps. This game is... gorgeous !

Two movies about Celts : -Boudica (2003) (full movie here), the warrior queen that fought the Roman Empire (circa A.D. 60). Seems quite good, I think I'll watch it someday. -Vercingetorix (2001), a terrible (2.6 on IMDB !!) french movie about the leader of Gaul (82 BC – 46 BC) though gives the impression of a watchable film... I haven't seen it yet and the reviews keep me from trying ! :/Pretty sad to see that a culture such as the Celts haven't yet been portrayed in a great way in a movie...

Another one, dedicated to the Celts and to the art of the game. If someone can send me a high quality version of the Celt hero artwork, that would be helpful, so I can make that wallpaper in much better quality. For now it is much too blurry on the character.

A new (and very simple) one : 1600x1200 again. First I produce a good bunch of new wallpapers, and later I will convert them to various sizes. This one uses the texture of the website's background. FYI, this is a rock texture I shot in Greece this summer In Delfi if I remember well...

I can arrange that, sure. As an example, I see that on AOE-Online's site they provide up to 9 different sizes of wallpapers ! That's a lot! I suggest we limit to 3 or 4 sizes, corresponding to all the needed ratios of screens. I'll think that in detail soon. Now here it's time to sleep. Any suggestion is welcome of course.

Lion, you mean a earth dome wouldn't stand the rain climate of India ? Sure. Actually, earth domes exist mostly in Africa, but I'm pretty sure there are some in India, in dry regions. Anyway, the need here is a multi-climate solution, so let's forget the earth idea.

Pretty good try Enrique ! I would not give that planks roofs to the main cabin, rather stone tiles. And for the mill, I would make the sails structure a little bit thiner and a more humble roof, so, timber instead of stone tiles. A earth dome would be really cool too, but I don't know if it would be accurate for Mauryans.

Idanwin, your globe icon is really excellent ! I wish I made it ! With which program did you made it ? It reminds me of the style of the Cyan Worlds logo. I suggest this icon to become the official Atlas icon ! And also why not having it in the game menu, clickable to access to Atlas ?

Sure, such mosaic is lovely and in good shape, but it's not warfare-oriented, then doesn't fit..

Yes man, or pottery, or painting from Roman age. It has to be picture of warriors, and it has to look f... good I've searched one for the Celts, and the only Celt warriors ancient picture I've found doesn't work as great as the Greek pottery of the Persian relief.
