  1. So after a month of patience my art gets overwritten anyways? The tower itself is not a difficult mesh to create. I do not mind recreating a different texture for the tower, but if you retexture it for yourself, then there is no point in giving me credit to the piece. That would be kind of a D move, bro.

  4. The Ptolemaic buildings look a lot less hellenistic than the Seleucid examples here?
  5. I like the fountain! But the dark spots really show? Is it supposed to look dirty and grimy? I would turn those dark spots to a medium brown.
  6. Why is the grinding stone part of the framework of the house on the Mauryan structure? Thats not very clever. First of all, that takes away the point of not exposing the grinding stone and the work to the elements. Two, if the owner has to replace the wood, he has to figure out a way to hold up the rest of the house from collapsing to cut the wood. Three, the work of the grindstone is going to shake the entire building.

  10. I think the structures look great! I get really tired of looking at the same Roman/Carthaginian/Greek textures.
  11. There is a lot of time and change recorded between 700 AD to 1500 AD that I think it would be too difficult to generalize like 0 A.D. I would rather propose a project centered around one century of events such as the 11th century.
  12. Thanks, but I like to interpret the archaelogical findings and art from the timeperiod rather than copy off another modern day artist.

  14. I think I am done with elephant tower. I handed it to Enrique for final completion. I'm working on the palette of helmets now.

  18. 1) People are working on it I think. 3) Might be nice, but it seems that 0 A.D. limits the variety of units available for each faction. Its not like the Total War games where you attempt to include as much variety of units you can to each faction. Otherwise I don't know if we'll have chariots or not. 4) WIP 5) Been discussed a lot in the forums. Relics or certain objects like the golden fleece or the head of Medusa would grant certain bonuses or be a victory condition. 0 A.D. just needs somebody to be interested enough to work on it.
