  1. This problem shouldn't be occurring even with zoom enabled. I'll add it to the giant bucket list of things to look over for a new theme update
  2. I think we should change that. Either host it ourselves or switch over to GitHub.
  3. I think thats what he meant.
  4. Just popped in to say great work on the much needed UI modernization. Please remember to keep resolution independent versions for future website theme development
  5. Good luck dude! Computer science is awesome and its so awesome that its always changing with new discoveries and its quite a diverse field. Do share with us what you learn and create
  6. I think you can find more updated screenshots from one of our galleries. Thanks, Dave
  7. Hi Victor and welcome to the forums! I'm Mish, one of the web developers and I primarily work with front end design. I'll be updating the main website's theme soon. Are you interested in working with me on that? Also, we have several open tasks related to web development on Trac. Feel free to ask questions or PM me.
  8. Great wrap guys! Can't wait to have our multiplayer party this weekend!
  9. I feel there should be an optional extensive settings menu. Just for the users (like me) who nitpick or have to deal with certain low/mid end chips and want to toggle a certain feature.
  10. I feel its an overkill and restricts gameplay.
  11. I recommend taking a look at not the tickets themselves but the getting started page.
  12. There may be issues with using Nike, as its trademarked by... Nike. My suggestions with Wikipedia info: Nebuchadnezzar II (c 634 – 562 BC) was king of the Neo-Babylonian Empire, who reigned c. 605 BC – 562 BC. He is credited with the construction of the Hanging Gardens of Babylon and for the destruction of the First Temple. Nerio was an ancient war goddess and the personification of valor. She was the partner of Mars in ancient cult practices, and was sometimes identified with the goddess Bellona, and occasionally with the goddess Minerva. Spoils taken from enemies were sometimes dedicated to Nerio by the Romans. Nerio was later supplanted by mythologized deities appropriated and adapted from other religions. Nox, goddess of night, derived from the Greek Nyx. Neptune (Latin: Neptūnus) was the Roman god of freshwater and the sea[1] in Roman religion. Nemesis, goddess of revenge Nero, last Julio-Claudian emperor of Rome.
  13. Keep in mind the theme update is aiming to move away from the status quo. The website is going to follow the the game GUI's evolution
  14. Would performance be improved by implementing a different multiplayer system? Or perhaps integrating with an already existing package?
  15. Hah... give me a CSS styled GUI and I will make it minimalist heaven (as a mod of course )
  16. Wow that is strange. We'll take care of this soon
  17. I could list so many movies. However, their historical accuracy would be way off
  18. So much of what we give credit to Western civs was in fact done before ages before them. Its not our fault however (for the most part), as we have yet to uncover more about ancient history. I am just thankful Byzantium survived as long as it did otherwise Roman and to an extent Greek influence wouldn't have been preserved or wide spread as it is today.
  19. We can still have an "ancient-themed" GUI without overdoing it. I think a fine line exists between the two and Pureon is doing a fine job staying in balance. (And I wouldn't really call the Starcraft UI "minimalistic"; it seems a bit heavy on the textures.)
  20. I have long wished for a minimalistic UI. A step in the right direction. (The old golden bars never really did give a feeling of antiquity, rather just seemed too baroque-sque to me.) If only the GUI was revamped; it would be so much easier to mod it. Pureon, if you could stretch it to be a bit more modern (muted tones, less "shiny"/web 2.0), it would be perfect with the new website theme I've been envisioning for a while
  21. Yay! Can't wait to try it. So can this connect with the forum databases and pull user lists from there? I've always favored muting the UI just a bit. Never was a fan of all the "ornate" gold and whatnot. But perhaps that is best left to an intense discussion later or better than that, a mod
  22. Amazing video, dude! Hate to nitpick, but why not YouTube?
