  2. For the record, there are two old models already in the game as actors (special/old/hellenes_theatre.xml): The left skene seems to be from lycurgan phase, the right one from hellenistic. 3. Only mention of Germans using sails seem to be during the Batavian Revolt, but they appear to be copying those in Roman ships (if not just replacing the sails in Roman ships that already had sails.)

  5. Some phrases and ideas I found. The machine replicates the technique but not the sensitivity. This applies to the industrial revolution. It will become more expensive and elite to own something made through Craftsmanship art. People are going back to older techniques. You know how to do it by hand, and even with paint, and who knows, maybe even with natural paint. The Aesthetics of the "Smooth": Today, we find beauty in things that offer no resistance and cause no pain—like smartphones, Jeff Koons’ sculptures, or hairless skin. It is the triumph of positivity, where everything strange or disturbing is eliminated. ----- Now I say this: Without sacrifice there is no lasting gratification, only momentary gratification. That's why this project feels good. That's why building an empire over centuries is rewarding. Building more than consuming. Life loses its meaning if everything is so easy and immediate. Value your talents, guys.

  6. Thinking about new features for the release, if this PR gets merged, maybe we could go with Chariton of Aphrodisias (Χαρίτων, Chariton) was a Greek writer of the Roman imperial period, known as the author of Chaereas and Callirhoe, one of the ancient Greek novels preserved in its entirety. Almost nothing is known about his life, but his work holds an important place in the early history of the Western novel. Caryatid is also a great option!!

  8. How about: Cute caustic cats cutting cold carbonated chilly, continually cooking cool cucumber chips celebrating californium carbide; Considering collective credible creativity covering chaos conquering cool corrosive cookies changing current Carthage; challenging cheese community could corrupt cool codenames! Chasing cool carbonated calfinoium closet cats considering crazy codenames could cause caustic cancer continually close-to California! Collectively, cool codenames co-exist!

  9. I'm elbows deep into a writing project I started wayyyy back in 2004 before the Athens Summer Olympics. I wrote a messy 169 page screenplay draft based upon the experience of ATHENS during the Greco-Persian Wars, and then proceeded to screw around with it for 20+ years off and on with no satisfaction. At one point, I'd lost all digital copies of it; only one printed copy remained and it was in the hands of an ex-girlfriend. She graciously gave it back to me and I digitized it again. Years go by and it's September 2026. I look at it again and I'm thinking no way will this behemoth ever get produced, let alone optioned or sold. It was also too melodramatic, Themistocles was an @#$%, and too much was crammed into it, even at 160+ pages. Then it hit me like a ton of bricks: turn it into a two-part cinematic event. Voila! Two 118-120 page film scripts and suddenly there is breathing room for characterization and plot! Not to mention cleaning up structure, narrative, dialogue, and action description. So, I've been on a 2-month tear just hammering these things like Hephaestus on his anvil into a couple of scripts I can be proud of, even if they're never produced. A small excerpt of what I've been working on. A particular battle you may have heard of: Other random excerpts: And, I've started a novel of the same story. Complimentary projects of the same story and characters. And now the novel is doing for my imagination what splitting the original screenplay into two separate films did a couple months ago. Deeper characterization possible, more historical detail. The excerpt from prologue to the novel: And page one of Chapter one:

  10. My one and only vote. https://www.wikiwand.com/en/Caryatid The caryatid standing in contrapposto, originally part of the Erechtheion, was removed by Lord Elgin and is now displayed at the British Museum [and should be returned to Greece] Caryatids are added to the game for this release by @nifa

  11. Ahh jaja, veo que en algunas regiones es así... no en la mía :P. Creo carro de guerra estaría bien. Y haz lo que quieras con la referencia a tu amiga, es el nombre de un mapa después de todo, en teoría le puedes poner como quieras.
