  1. @wraitiiis busy atm, but I have two merges for the community mod ready for a potential 5th community mod. One is a bunch of gameplay commits from a27, designed to make balance testing of the RC easier. The other is my melee/ranged rebalance. I’d say most balancing stuff is directly in Phabricator along with some discussion here or in PM. These are typically less ambitious changes since it is hard to get much agreement for more ambitious changes. My thoughts are that these more ambitious ideas can be implemented through the community mod for good play testing. I have a few other cool ideas ready for when a27 drops.

  3. These are definitely for the UI. It's just very difficult to get accurate characters wielding accurate weaponry.

  5. if I recall well, it's about the actual father. it's a political title meant to give legitimacy to a ruler linking them to the father.

  6. When I looked it up I took "Philopater" more as "fatherland loving" than about the actual father; "patriotic" if you will. I'm fine with the originals.

  7. honestly, I think father-loving sounds perfect, although maybe I prefer the original greek, because it's really a title that loses meaning without cultural and political context.

  8. They are much weaker @Buchi. They have lower armor. Also, while they don't cost metal, they do cost a lot of food and wood.

  12. Queen Gorgo would be an interesting addition to Spartans and make them a stronger civ than they currently are. However, I would recommend you to change the model of Gorgo slightly so that it is easier to distinguish her from an average female citizen.
