  2. Thing is, percentages are more intuitive to the player. Is +3 attack a lot? Is +1 speed a lot? Dunno. +20%, now that gives you a great idea.

  4. I hope that merc cav are at the sweet spot in balance this alpha. It was really quite sad that they are so OP that they are unplayable in a25, since their gameplay role could be quite interesting and help

  5. Can you try to convince me that it is actually true? If the winning unit deals 2x as much damage per second, then the weaker unit dies in half the time. However in half the time, the weaker unit can deal 2*0.5 the original damage if the weaker unit has the same upgrades.

  6. pierce damage: good against soldiers. hack damage: good against soldiers and siege crush damage: good against buildings and moderately effective against siege. fire damage: good vs everything as there are no entities with armor against fire

  7. I don't see it as an imbalance. If without upgrades unit A can beat unit B with 66% health remaining, then if both units get the same upgrades then unit A still wins with 66% HP remaining. So it stays the same.

  12. ^forgive me, I had to XD. In all seriousness, these upgrades make much less impact than the general damage/armor hikes. Instead, they are ways to differentiate units into roles as desired. It was not the wrong direction btw, the blacksmith was absolutely full of upgrades, and it they were very, very expensive. It is much better the way it is, more streamlined, straightforward. I would say these upgrades are much more interesting and logical than pre a23 forge technologies. They are also pretty cheap, so doing a composition switch is absolutely possible. (in fact, this makes them more impactful). Lastly, I would like anyone commenting to please actually download the mod, and back up what you are saying with what you have found in the mod. *btw I made a seperate topic for this: https://wildfiregames.com/forum/topic/93787-unit-specific-upgrades/

  13. I wanted to test some spear cavalry with their 2x multiplier and I noticed this: Hero spear cavalry still have the 1.75 multiplier. I don't know if that is something "ugly" or not, but it exists.

  14. Yeah, it is prefered by casual players but disapproved by regular online players. Although an online player is the kind of person that can play on Arabia 99% of the time, so in a way you need to consider they are quite special.

  15. Hi! In the upcoming A26 release will appear an option to decrease texture quality and disable anisotropic filtering. Plus disabling variation randomization might help a bit.

Si haces lo necesario para que el juego no sea malo a los ojos del Creador, pero buscas complacerlo haciendo los cambios necesarios, estarás buscando la aprobación del Todopoderoso (estarás buscando el reino de Dios), y Dios promete que el resto que él pone (el resto vendrá), tal vez con la popularidad del juego, o tal vez haciendo que el juego genere más ingresos para usted, o tal vez sanará a sus parientes enfermos, pero lo que sí sé es que Jehová guardará su palabra y les dará lo que necesitan (por su infinita misericordia).

  17. yes indeed, an increasing damage advantage will cause the winning unit to win with more remaining hp. The damage advantage increases due to the upgrades being percentage based.
