  4. Making a Huns faction. First things first: Was wondering what references we have from which to base a civ emblem. Google images doesn't offer much for me.

  6. I feel like the Huns are better for late antiquity. Mongols feel better for Millennium AD. That's up to them though of course.

  7. Well, the only thing I personally think about talking about a civ emblem is in the 1924 fild "Die Nibelungen" directed by Fritz Lang. I personally have no idea if the emblems that are present in this mute film are really based on history, but all the scenes are very very treated and there is a large study on them (I can confirm having seen it).

  9. FreddyEdge , you should check internet for more guidelines. i would reccomend you to learn how to make simple games first before trying some very complicated and games with high graphics from Youtube.

  10. unity and unreal are mainstream tools for gamedev nowadays. there are free guides on the net you can also just select a language, some popular opengl framework and just code a game. id recommend it for learning, but in the long run you might want to learn unreal or unity because they handle a lot of stuff for you.
