  1. I can no longer capture gaia building with my men. The cursor does not show and if I right-click my men to the building (in this case a Mercenary Camp) they will just stand around it doing nothing. This is started happen recently, so I wonder if it is not because of new Attack.js cleanup: http://trac.wildfiregames.com/changeset/18465 http://trac.wildfiregames.com/changeset/18466 For some reason priests can capture building just fine (they can capture buildings in my mod), but soldier cannot. commands.txt

  3. About terminology: we need to differentiate capturing (buildings), conversion (age of empires priest) and capturing sheeps. For scenario making, it would be also useful gaia conversion units like aoe2 (when a human units reach gaia units, they are given to that player) Capturing it's working. IRC initals plans were against conversion (with one roman hero ability exception), but there was in mind sheep and female capturing (the later as wow said, seems to have been discarded). Wololoing would be useful for modders: @Lion.Kanzen, wasn't a working version in Aristeia? It could be added to the engine without using it in the 0 ad main game. (Or just a scenario only priest for showing)

  7. Hi wraitii. Could you do this for enhancement of patch? I think, for an example if I upgrade a wooden tower to stone tower it should make the tower complete sound when done upgrade. So, when object switch to new entity, the training complete or building complete sound can be heard. Either that or have a new sound group for "Upgrade." Another enhancement I just think of would be to have a "Upgrade" animation type. For many units, can use the same anim as promotion, but can be 2 different types in the actor just in case.

  8. When we reach a more stable state (like beta), we should make such a page specifically for modders though. F.e. stating what schemas changed in what way, or listing changes to our engine that depreciate old component code.

  9. Glad you like it. But just to save you from disappointment, Alpha 21 most likely won't come out this month. That date was set when we released the previous version, and was just a rough estimate then (as trac needs some date). But it looks like we'll now aim for somewhere in August (though we also have a tendency to seriously overshoot our aims). We prefer to release a working game over releasing quickly.
