Right. I read a bit too quickly and didn't realize when you said idle time you were referring only to barrack idle time

If I need to just go and modify the XML files "raw" I don't have any issues with that. The problem is that the documentation talks about an Actor Editor, and I'd love to use it, but it doesn't seem to actually be included in the packaged files. Considering the documentation of the tool is 12 years old, now, is it just wildly deprecated and lost to time? Or am I just overlooking something?

@vanz the hotkey to select all units is in autociv, but call to arms and back to work are both available without any mod. so you can just bind the call to arms hotkey and not worry about the mod.

Blacksmith : Weapon or Armor? Slash or Piercing?
TheCJ replied to vanz's topic in Gameplay Discussion
My go-to is 1. Ranged Damage Upgrade 2. Pierce Resistance Upgrade 3. Hack Resistance Upgrade 4. Melee Damage Upgrade but it does depend on which units you are planning to go for; with athens/sparta, you might opt for melee first, against rome you might make the hack resistance upgrade first. -

I go for the ranged (pierce) first, usually armor then dmg. -

As the title said, which upgrade do you prefer to make first?

Wait, so it is a mod?

It is Zagros Mountains, and it seems to be consistently doing it now. Really weird issue since it didn't a few times. Restarted the game too. Edit: Yeah this just decides to do it completely randomly.

Hello Bloop, welcome to the forums. Which map is it?
-
Everything is way too small, I can't play this. I just tried restarting the map two more times and it wasn't like that though, think it might have been a bug so it's even more relevant. I couldn't zoom in more than in the picture no matter how I moved the camera.

I think there is also the fact that healers heal one by one whereas entering or standing near a temple heals large groups simultaneously
-
Also the aura of heroes stack. Notice these techs aren't that popular on the competitive player base, see here. Hero aura is very good as it heals a lot of units right at the battle field and also while retreating a bit. Healing helps that units gain in rank. That's why Hippocrates is so strong.
-
Yes, Temple aura stacks with Battlefield Medicine, assuming the soldiers are idle.

Hmm, meaning everything else stacks? For example, Battlefield Medicine and temple aura?
-
Depending on your strategy, you have two ways to heal your troops. Active would be to focus on healers and research their upgrades. Passive would be to focus on garrisoning and Temple auras. Always focus resources only on one way in a match. Most good players focus on the passive way, as healers are far too fragile.
-
Yes. What does not stack is when you have the healing aura of 2 temples very near, that aura only adds once.
-
Hello team, I have a question: does health regeneration from Battlefield medicine stack with healing buff from garrisoning with Living Conditions?

Insane graphics on Atlas editor on Windows 11
little Guest replied to Seleucids's topic in Bug reports
If I follow your steps with Vulkan and GPU skinning enabled, then there is a crash issue similar to the one I posted before. I guess your insane graphics issue might be caused by the driver. At least on my Vega iGPU, updating the driver solved it. -
