  1. Past hour
  2. If the art guy says it isn't going to happen, it isn't going to happen. Feel free to close the "bug report".
  3. Today
  4. I rotate for aligning as well, rotating the camera just needs E ans Q for right and left respectively, as for rotating the storehouse we already know all you gotta do is hover your mouse around while having the building selected
  5. I was about to report it myself in that game that got a free turnover, but then ffm started spamming "gg cheats" "gg bye" "resigning" so I lost my cool. then they paused for 5 mins ruining my build. truly a great strategy, I must add. To everyone other than ffm, I apologise if you thought this was cheating, it isn't, I'm always a texter you'll see me text my intentions always before going for smth weird or new.
  6. 1.Consider this: It was a champ cav game, I needed food, not wood, but I traded for wood instead of for food; so I reversed my dealings. is that cheating? 2. this is a pretty much a net loss. 2800 food+2500 wood (5300 resource total) for 4500 food is a net loss, it's barely a profit for 5900 total resource. on what earth is that cheating? 3. you need atleast 3.5k metal to run the exploit I think, and I literally started mining metal. 4. I already knew there are specs watching, do you really think I'm that dumb to actually exploit?
  7. I don't think it necessarily says anything. It's interesting, sure. But there is noise here that limits it's usefulness. Notably, this doesn't account for differences in player skill for each civ. You would need to control for player differences to make real conclusions. It also obviously lacks any data for military strength. For example, I personally find ptol to be one of the stronger civs. But, in my perception, it isn't chosen by highly skilled players that often while it is frequently chosen by lesser skilled players. Many players using ptol also build settlements before min 13, which naturally slows down their eco boom, but may give them a strategic advantage that isn’t captured in the statistics I would also consider iber to be a decent to good civ. But whenever it is chosen it automatically boosts other civs too, especially gauls, because of it's team skirm bonus. So it's relative value is depressed.
  8. Surely the last 3 charts illustrate that it's Kush who needs a boost, nay?
  9. Ain't gonna happen, unless in a mod. When you place a storehouse, it'll turn red to tell you it's too close. Back off by a meter and boom, it's placeable. This takes no more than a second.
  10. Yesterday
  11. @AtrikYour alternative is so much cleaner and easy to read than this:
  12. @Arup ? Even a child should know thats not okay. Or do you have anything to say for yourself?
  13. congratulations to the game development team and the creation of the big feature film )) !
  14. That was fun, although I was late to the party as I missed it completely. Whats the story about "borgs second account" agride? A imposter? I know borg as "borg_" and "borg-" in the lobby, although I see a borg. now too in the leaderboard. Also for me "favella" is a phrase chanted when enemy riders run in a strong point and you can take them out fast. As they come to the wrong hood... But I heard it for bad internet too.
  15. That's sad. But that problem has a solution. The moment it happens, you just collectively let a 4v1 on the cheater. Until he's out of the game, everyone is on cease fire.
  16. Today, almost 2 month after the public knowing of the market exploit, it happened again. It was a tg 4v4, the oddity detector called it out immediately. The player accused me of lying and insulted me. I wanted to resign the game right away. There was some doubt about a false positive and I carried on since the others wanted to play it out. I wouldn't post if he didn't deny it and insult me. If you are around him don't talk about any game weaknesses, exploits or modding or so. Here's screenshots from the replay. I am very disappointed that jagsusindia cheats and robs the trust and time of 7 other players. The oddity detector has some false positives on the other checks, e.g. for mouse clicker on lag. But I didn't see the market exploit check fail yet. It can be seen in the snippet that jagsus only traded food and wood with a barter efficiency over 100%.
  17. If the trees from AoE2:DE as seen in the screenshot you provided are your measure of pretty, sure. I think most people would agree that realistic trees are prettier, though?
  18. It's not that easy to display so much stats on limited space. I also disliked that units had stats that you cannot know unless you check the xml, such as the splash radius. I've just added a bunch more details to ModernGUI tooltips.
  19. @Deicide4u there isn’t a specific small trees mod as far as I know, but you can try playing on biomes (in random maps) with smaller trees like the steppe. also, rotating the camera up and down makes placement easier, although it requires figuring out a good set of key binds. I’d like to know what key@ValihrAnt uses for this, but maybe it is top secret.
  20. I...can? How hard it is to have a pretty tree that doesn't have huge treetops? We aren't playing real life simulation game here. EDIT: Age of Empires 2: DE trees, as an example. We are 3D, so just grow them a bit. I am not saying that they should look exactly like that, but older tree models from A23b looked better, IMHO.
  21. Alt+Shift+S (enable silhouettes), it's disabled on your screenshot. Edit: ah actually foundations don't produce silhouettes lol
  22. Well, pretty trees have bigger treetops than trunks. So unless I understood you wrongly, you cant have pretty trees that dont block the view?
  23. I know the mod she uses, but that doesn't address the issue. Only obscures it. Also, I want to look at the pretty graphics
  24. Yes, but if you get rid of the stats there, how will you know your real gather rates after all the upgrades? The stats written on the popup window don't show real gather rates, only the base ones. I got you, but if we remove those stats from there, we'd then need the popup window to show the real stats with all upgrades listed. As in Age of Mythology. The discussion is off-topic, so maybe we should move this issue to a separate thread?
  25. Seems all attack upgrades/auras are directly written in %. So each additional upgrade for attack e.g. 10% works even better. But each additional point has less effect. The first point protects of 10% of the damage The additional point from 9 to 10 only protects of 4% damage more.
