DarkAngelBGE
I recently thought about a "Quick Topic" feature. That means that the "New Topic" button shows up on the Board Index next to each forum. What do you think of that ?Have any other ideas ? akya
A list of the ppl with the highest rep...and a list of the ppl who give those rep points
chichigrande
I'm with Akya with those wlists, but how about a list with the people with the highest posts per day?
DarkAngelBGE
@Matt: http://forums.wildfiregames.com/wfg/index....php?act=MembersI think I just build another sort method into that list.
CodeOptimist
I think I just build another sort method into that list. I was thinking of that... that'd be the best way to implement it IMO.
akya
ditto good idea
Dnas
How about a mod that allows people to input the reason they edited a message.Example:This message was last edited by Dnas at April 32, 2079 for spelling errors.

Never thought of that before, sounds like a good suggestion to me!

Mystic-Al-Bob
@tim: Where is the list with the highest posts per day? I tried the link but there were only "total posts", "Join day" and "Currency".
CodeOptimist
@tim: Where is the list with the highest posts per day?    I tried the link but there were only "total posts", "Join day" and "Currency". On the forum index, click on "Today's top 10 posters" near the bottom. (above the user list)Yeah, the new option won't be there because he hasn't added it yet. Mystic-Al-Bob
when will it be added?
CodeOptimist
when will it be added? Soon I guess it'll be whenever Tim can find a bit of time to do the mod.
akya
just had an idea....could we have a mod that tells us if we already posted in the thread we're viewing...and if yes, then it could show us the posts we've made I could use it, cause some ppl just keep bringing back old thread and then I don't know if I've already answered to it... Quacker
It already does, Amy If you see this image to the left of the topic name:Then you've replied. If you see this image to the left of the topic name:Then you haven't replied.Same goes with topics for new posts, the image is darker if you've already replied in it. Wijitmaker
I thought of one today that would be pretty handy...[tab] = Â
DarkAngelBGE
You mean in the fast reply box, jason ?
Sam
I think he means when you hit tab it actually does the normal 'tab effect'Â = Non breaking space
CodeOptimist
Good suggestion. A [pre] tag would be the "holy grail", however
Dnas
And a [css] tag.Example[css=filter:fliph();height:10;width:40;]text[/css]would end up as<span style="filter:fliph();height:10;width:40;">text</span>
Dnas
Sorry about the double-post, but here's another idea (that will probably be hard to implement)Make it so that, when you press add reply, the last post is stored in a hidden input tag. Then, when the post is processed, if there are any posts after the stored number, put at the top of the post something likeThis posted was posted in response to post #
DarkAngelBGE
Sounds good, Dnas.
akya
I sometimes make the mistake of clicking on "mark all read" after I visit all the new posts in one forum, thus I have to search in all the others for the new posts because the "mark all read" affects also the others forums. So you can either, make it that it only affects one forum at a time or do a "view new posts" that displays all the new posts in all three forums. I dunno if I'm being clear here...but if ya need any explanations, just ask And if it isn't possible to make, then, too bad, I'll just get used to it
King Tutankhamun
I think if you use the myassistant, it shows new topics that are active.
Lorian
I know this is old but I only just found it, anyway what happened to the idea of mkaing it so it says why you edited your post on the thing?
