One can gather stone from rocks, from ruins, and from treasures; all three have different gather rates and could be gathered by different units, in principle; hence why their file names correspond with their resource subtype. I have to agree, it's a bit unfortunate to have _only_ the subtype when both 'ore' and 'rock' are super generic, and "stone_rock" and "metal_ore" wouldn't have hurt much. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

That's probably due to a wave of renaming. That's meaningful for text displayed in game. The cost / reward is less obvious for filenames...
